FIRST FLOOR

When entering the home from the first floor, you will walk in to the downstairs family room with a plush sectional sofa with chaise. A flat screen TV with cable and Roku are available for your use while you relax and enjoy peek-a-boo ocean views from the two large windows in this space. A large collection of DVD’s is located in the TV hutch, with many options appropriate for young children.

Thefirst floor features two sets of bunk beds with NEW mattresses (four twins total) and a window with east-facing territorial views of the beautiful green coastal mountain foothills. Several children’s books are provided in this room, as well as two different portable cribs with bedding. This is a great space for the younger kids to let their hair down, or perhaps those that are just young at heart.

The first floor has its own bathroom with remodeled quartz countertops and cabinets, a toilet, sink, step-in shower, and exterior window. There is a children’s step stool in this bathroom’s closet to assist those that aren’t quite able to reach the sinks in the house. Guests also have access to the large, separate laundry room on this level, complete with utility sink, washer, dryer, and complimentary laundry detergent and fabric softeners.

The storage closet located in the first floor hallway contains exterior low-rider beach chairs for use on the beach or sandy parts of the property, as well as assorted beach toys - all for guests’ use.

SECOND/MAIN FLOOR

The second floor boasts two bedrooms, each with queen beds and large east-facing windows with territorial views of the beautiful, green, coastal foothills. These east-facing windows provide beautiful morning sunlight to gently awaken you during your stay.

This floor offers a centrally-located full bathroom updated with quartz countertops and cabinets, a toilet, sink, and combination bathtub/shower.

The hallway that separates the two bedrooms leads to the back of the house, where you will discover a cozy balcony deck with the same amazing east-facing views. This spot is a favorite of guests who enjoy the warm morning sun in an Adirondack chair while sipping their morning coffee and watching for the local deer who are frequent visitors to the grassy area on the back side of the property. On the rear deck, you will also find a gas grill, should you choose to utilize it for a delicious meal. The closets in this main hallway contain an ironing board, iron, high chair, miscellaneous supplies, baby bath, and first aid kit, if needed.

The remainder of the second floor boasts a light and bright open concept with living, dining, and kitchen areas. The most notable feature of this space is the floor-to-ceiling wall of windows, all of which provide the best of the best 180-degree ocean and beach views. This floor has vaulted ceilings to the third story, creating an open and airy ambiance for your relaxation.

The living room is well appointed for your comfort with luxury couches, oversized ottoman, and all-new furniture perfect for reading, watching the ocean, or taking in a ball game on the flat screen TV with cable and Roku availability. The sectional is large enough for any height person to stretch out and take a comfortable, peaceful siesta as well. The living room also features a wood stove for those guests who choose to create a warm and cozy fire during the cooler and stormy winter months. Please note that we do not provide fire wood, but it can be purchased at Chester’s market in Pacific City.

The dining area has a new large table with seating for 10+, although there are additional dining chairs in the home which can be added to this table for additional seating capacity.

The kitchen has been remodeled with quartz countertops, large undermount sink, updated cabinets, and all new appliances; these include a dishwasher, sink with garbage disposal, refrigerator, microwave, and oven with range. This space is well stocked and contains most, if not all, items you would expect in a home kitchen. The kitchen also offers a dining peninsula with six bar stools. The pantry closet in the kitchen is large and can easily accommodate all of your grocery and miscellaneous items.

Another top feature of the second floor is the glass-panel expansive deck that wraps the entire west and partial north side of the home. Guests are welcomed and encouraged to utilize the provided exterior chairs to claim a spot on the sunny deck and take in the unparalleled Pacific Ocean, Haystack Rock, and Cape Kiwanda views over a glass of wine or your favorite local brew.

THIRD FLOOR

The open staircase to the third floor leads you to a large loft area with an additional full-size dining table and six chairs. A bookshelf houses playing cards and several games, perfect for family bonding time, or even a little one-on-one competition. The views from the loft are some of the best you’ll find, so be sure to make your way up to this stunning spot.

The third floor bedroom has a queen bed and east-facing window with an even better vantage point of the gorgeous coastal mountain foothills.

The third floor bathroom has been updated with new quartz countertops and cabinets, and is quite large. It offers a toilet, sink, and step-in shower, as well as additional closets and storage areas.

It is our pleasure to provide basic amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in each of our guest bathrooms, complimentary tea and coffee for your first morning at the house, and many other details that we hope make your stay just a little bit sweeter.
