Stayed Aug 30, 2024We absolutely loved the Hen House. Staying for a game at Kyle Field, the accommodations were perfect and Cindy was an amazing host. If we ever find ourselves in College Station again, we can’t recommend the hen house enough!

Stayed Apr 14, 2023This property is fun and quirky. It was bigger than I expected, the bed was comfy, and the price was great. We were happy to be able to bring our dog too. The outdoor shower was definitely an adventure in the dark and slightly chilly weather. I would stay here again simply to save money on crazy game weekend prices!

Stayed Nov 4, 2022My wife and I love staying here. Fun house out in the country but an easy drive to Texas A&M. We've stayed here for 4 A&M football games over the past 2 years. The owners are a pleasure to deal with.

Stayed Nov 5, 2021My wife and I were tired of staying in hotels for Aggie football games so we gave this house a shot. Fun little house out in the county. We loved the outdoor shower. Great location for visiting Texas A&M if you don’t want to stay in the city. Easy drive to campus and all sporting venues. We would definitely stay there again.

Stayed Oct 1, 2021This place is decorated so cute and quirky! We stayed here for a weekend while we were in town for an Aggie football game and it worked perfectly for us. We had 3 adults and 2 kids, ages 4 nd 7. I was a little worried about the size of the house, but we had plenty of room (it is bigger than I was expecting). We had 2 adults in the king bed, one adult in the twin, and the kids on the pull out sofa and it never felt cramped. The host was friendly and available for questions and had games and snacks available. The Tiki Toss was a hit with my kids. The front patio was nice and had some grills available. The outdoor shower was nice as well. There is a full size refrigerator and Keurig coffee maker (a must!), as well as a cool popcorn machine, and plenty of blankets and pillows. It took us about 10-15 minutes to get to campus. It is located in the country and very quiet, which we loved. Some things to note: There is an outdoor shower, but not one inside. No microwave or stove. No TV. None of these things bothered us one bit, but if you want to cook while staying, that might be a deal breaker for you. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. My kids are already asking to go back!
