Very helpful host with lots of suggestions for things to do.

The property is appropriately called “The Haven” (cozy & comfortable) located in a quiet and safe neighborhood, close to grocery stores & restaurants. The hosts attention to detail was outstanding, thoughtful & surprising: fresh eggs in fridge, peach cobbler ice cream, everything for coffee & tea in the morning was readily available. Our family was spoiled… we’ve traveled for conferences & our son’s sports for the last 12 years… Lori’s “Haven” is definitely 5 🌟

My wife and I have stayed in places around the world and this, by far, was the most accommodating and pleasant place we have ever stayed. Lori was exceptionally kind and her vacation residence included amenities that we have never experienced anywhere else. The fresh carrot cake, Bluebell ice cream, and farm-fresh eggs were just a few of the highlights of our stay. I would recommend both Lori and her property for anyone that wants the best!

Lori was an amazing host, what you see in the pics is what you get. She was very responsive to any questions we had. I loved how she was very detailed with notes in her home and the sweetest welcome she left us was so sweet and thoughtful. The area was amazing close to so many places and a very nice neighborhood. Definitely looking forward to booking again!!

Lori is simply the best host we’ve ever had! The property was well appointed and had everything you could possibly need. Lori even brought us special treats that were much appreciated after spending the days outside. If you’re going to Waco, stay here, you’ll love it.

I don't think I could adequately provide enough adjectives to describe how we felt about this property! From the cleanliness to the decor to the welcoming backyard, everything about the Haven was perfection.The home had a full array of cooking/baking supplies, fridge had a few things we find we always need. The layout and bedroom situation was great, everyone was comfortable. Well lit, cozy.The sitting area outback made for a pleasant Saturday evening sit with some pizza and drinks.Lori provided an extensive list of places to eat, explore and shop as well so we never had difficulty with filling time.

Property and manager were great. Management was responsive and extremely helpful and nice. Property was clean, comfortable and had more than we needed

Lori was an amazing host! The property was soooo clean, beautiful, quiet, close to everything, and suited our needs for sure!!! I have stayed in many a VRBO, but this place was by far the best!!! We cannot wait to book with Lori again! Oh and she had peach cobbler and ice cream made for us too, and it was delicious!!!

The Haven is a great place to stay. Very close to Waco. Lots of place to go also near the Haven. The place was clean and everything you need. Lori had nice accessories in home, so ideal!

House was very clean and had every thing we needed and then some! King bed was very comfortable and had no problem getting a good nights sleep. Massage chair and a sweet treat was a nice surprise after a long drive! Would definitely rent again!

My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay. Two comfortable bedrooms and baths, everything and more than we need. Lori was great to communicate with. We’d stay there again!

This place is very homey. You can tell Lori puts love and thought into the decorations, furniture and the extras inside and out. She has thought through many little things that you want/need when staying away. I came with my daughter and almost 3 year old grandson. He loved our Texas house and wants to go back. I'm from New Hampshire, so not sure if I'll be back. but if I do, I would definitely stay here! Thank you Lori!

We always love to stay at the Haven. Lori has everything perfectly prepared, and it was a warm and cozy place to be during a few days of cold weather in Waco. We will be back!!

The back yard walkway way overground with plants. Grass was sparse and created a multi daily cleaning 4 days of rain including exit morning made cleaning again troublesome due to the muddy yard and no clear walk way. Management charges visitor for property issues.

Three lifelong friends who met at Baylor when freshmen in 1970 came together for our 50th reunion. The Haven provided us a very comfortable place to gather to celebrate and reminisce. The location in the Woodway area was convenient to many major roads in & out of Waco. Plenty of restaurants were nearby to make it easy to plan dinners. The neighborhood was quiet and the house simply & pleasantly appointed. The perfect spot for our reunion group!

Lori’s a very generous hostess. Her Haven home is very comfortable and decorated adorably. She stocked the kitchen with waters, snacks and breakfast. She was easy to reach before and after our stay. I would highly recommend staying here and we would return for sure.

We came to Waco to watch our son compete in the iron man. We visited Magnolia market and saw some of downtown Waco. Would have enjoyed more time here as it is a very cute location. The neighborhood was quiet and my son and I biked around it. The house had everything plus. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed all the extras provided. I would definitely stay here again.

Lori was such a wonderful communicator. She made check-in and check-out a breeze! The house was decorated like a charming cottage. There was a fresh peach cobbler and ice cream as well as some other treats. Overall this is a wonderful place to stay in Waco! Not far of a drive to the silos and other attractions! If we visit Waco again this is where we will be staying!
