Welcome to The Gondola Haus in Shock Hill! Located directly across from the Shock Hill Gondola stop, this 4-bed, 4.5-bath retreat offers 2,400 sq. ft. of luxurious living space. With two spacious living areas, a gourmet kitchen, hot tub, and views of Breckenridge Ski Resort, this home combines luxury with one of the best locations in town.

Please note that this home is a duplex and shares a wall with an attached unit.

Proximity: This home sits directly across from the BreckConnect Gondola, offering direct access to Peaks 7 and 8 at the Breckenridge Ski Resort. Downtown Breckenridge is just 0.9 miles away for those who prefer to walk into town.

Kitchen: The open-concept kitchen is fully stocked and features an oversize island with a 4-person breakfast bar. Enjoy cooking with top-of-the-line Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, a 6-burner gas range, and all the cookware you'll need including a crock pot, and blender. Whether preparing a casual breakfast or a holiday dinner, this chef's kitchen has you covered.

Family Room: The downstairs family room offers an additional gathering space with a full-size couch, flatscreen TV, mini-fridge, and bar, ideal for families, friends, or a casual movie night.

Sleeping Arrangements: 4 Bedrooms, 4.5 Bath -
• Primary Bedroom (Main Level): King bed, flatscreen TV, fireplace, desk, electric blinds, private balcony, and en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, double sinks, and walk-in closet.
• Second Bedroom (Lower Level): King bed, flatscreen TV, closet, shares bathroom with Bedroom 3.
• Third Bedroom (Lower Level): King bed, flatscreen TV, closet, direct access to shared bathroom with Bedroom 2.
• Fourth Bedroom (Lower Level): 2 Twin bunk beds, each with retractable reading light, wall-mounted flatscreen TV, and adjacent bathroom with walk-in shower.

Outdoor Spaces: Enjoy a north-facing deck off the dining room with outdoor seating and a gas grill, perfect for morning coffee or summer barbecues. On the lower patio, soak in the 6-person hot tub or relax by the outdoor fireplace with ski resort views.

Laundry: The home includes a full laundry room with a new washer and dryer, iron, and ironing board.

Heated Garage: Parking for two vehicles in the heated garage ensures easy access and plenty of gear storage. There is also room for 2 additional vehicles in front of the garage.

Nordic-in/Nordic-out — with gondola access, too! Located in Breckenridge's premier Shock Hill neighborhood, this home offers rare access to the town's groomed Nordic trail system and close proximity to the gondola for effortless downhill skiing. Skip the lines and step outside to explore miles of scenic, lift-free terrain ideal for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and peaceful winter outings. While the Nordic trails and ski resort sit side by side, they are separate systems — giving you the best of both worlds: quiet, endurance-based recreation and fast access to the mountain. In warmer months, these same trails become a network for hiking and biking, making this a true year-round launch point for mountain adventure.

Alpine Edge provides essentials for a weekend stay, including paper towels, dish soap, a new sponge, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, hotel-style toiletries, and extra rolls of toilet paper. Fresh pressed linens and towels are provided, including extra towels for the hot tub. This home is not pet-friendly.

4WD/AWD/Traction Devices are highly recommended during the winter months. We recommend referring to the Colorado Department of Transportation Traction Laws before arriving in Summit County. We are located in a high alpine environment where variable conditions may exist. Tire traction devices are also highly recommended as heavy snowfall is expected from November to May.

Please be aware there are security cameras in the access and parking areas.

    The Wolf range was exceptional! Amazing house with nicely appointed finishes. Kitchen was perfect for thanksgiving. Very close to town but not mixed in with the riff raff. Loved this place.

    Great location and good accommodations, for a family/extended family. We stayed for spring break with our 3 high school/college-aged daughters and their friends. Kitchen, and the house in general, has top-of-the-the-line appliances and amenities but they’ve been well-used. The high price of the rental didn’t fully match the expectations but we enjoyed our stay, and the location was great.

    This house was perfect for our group. Very easy for skiers to get to the mountain and fun for those staying at the house. The easy access to the Gondola was perfect for both groups. Would definitely stay here again.

    We loved our stay at this property! It had every amenity and convenience we could wish for along with beautiful views and a great location. We came to ski and were pleased to find a very short walk (all on flat ground!) to the gondola stop. Tip: on a busy morning, ask the attendant to call for an empty car from the base instead of trying to split up your group into multiple jam-packed cars that are passing through. Downtown shops and dining are all easily accessed via a down hill ride in the gondola or a short drive. We would definitely stay here again!

    This South Carolina Family could not have been happier with our choice of homes to rent. The house was perfect and convenient for our family of skiers. Our daughter and two youngest grandchildren joined us this year for a pre-Christmas trip. After 3 days in ski school the youngest grandchildren were able to ski with their 16-year-old cousins. For the first time of renting many vacation homes for these ski trips we were not disappointed. The house is beautiful, and we never tired of the view out those living room windows. The house has excellent high-end appliances that we loved. The only complaint was the lack of decent pots and pans and coffee pot. I still give this house a very high 5-star review because this is something that can be fixed. The hot tub could use a little maintenance too with floating parts. The beds were extremely comfortable, and we especially loved the steam shower in the Master Bath. It was like herding cats getting them all out on the slopes, so the heated garage was perfect for them putting on their ski boots. We had some wild card games and may laughs at the dining room table playing Rummy. As an owner of a vacation home in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina I know how important 5-star revies are so I would give this house a 6. Thank you to the owners for a beautiful vacation.
