The Gathering Place- Modern, Spacious, 6 Bedrooms

The Gathering Place is remarkable. Our family celebrated an anniversary. There was room for everyone to spread out and enjoy the many amenities. The design and attention to detail is very special. The host was most accommodating.

Let me start by saying, Jess, the owner, is remarkable! She is friendly, gave clear instructions and tips. The place is really cozy, yet very spacious. The bedrooms are big with 6 bathrooms. My family and I really enjoyed our stay in the Gathering Place

The home was beautiful and had everything a large group of people would need for a nice trip. The host was incredibly responsive and kind. I had asked many questions the weeks leading up to our stay and she answered them all. Between the comfort of the home and kindness of the host, I would stay here again.

The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. Kitchen was fully stocked with pots/pans/dishes. Hot tub was clean and beds comfy. Hosts were also very responsive.Thank you! We had a wonderful girls weekend.

Our stay was absolutely fabulous! Couldn’t ask for anything more and the house was stocked with everything you could need. The games were a hit for the older and younger kids, the pool table, hot tub. Something for everyone to do. The host Jess was fantastic, quick responses and so helpful! Thanks for a great trip!

We reserved the house to celebrate my wife's 70th birthday and everything worked out better than planned. Not only was she surprised, but she is now wanting to visit and stay at this house during the summer months, preferably during the 4th of July week. Would love to take advantage of the screen porch and deck in those summer months.Jess, the owner of the property, couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating - we had three young children with us and they needed afternoon naps, so Jess allowed us to arrive earlier than planned. I assume she was thinking about us later since she offered us a late-checkout too, and this turned out to be the best offer of the weekend!The house was perfect for our family - we used 5 of the six bedrooms, and everyone had space and privacy. Every bedroom/bathroom was beautiful and fully stocked with everything needed by a family. The kitchen was also stocked with everything needed, and had some items that I wished we had at our own home!Even tough it was extremely cold in Galena that weekend, the hot tub was used constantly - I think they were nuts, but they had fun being outside I guess.Lastly, every single person thanked us for a great weekend and loved this house. We look forward to working with Jess again, and wish to thank her for her service, communication and thoughtfulness in making this weekend a memorable time for my wife and family.

House was perfect for our girls getaway! Kitchen had everything we needed. House was immaculate! We loved hanging in both living areas and bedrooms were so comfortable! Communication with host was great throughout the entire rental process. House is truly a gem and we plan to be back next year!

This stay was exceptional! My family and I stayed here the weekend of my wedding and it accommodated us beautifully. We had 14 guests, so all beds were full , and everyone was gushing about the house. Even the couple who slept on the pull out couch said it was super comfortable! Wehad our too dogs also loved the house!

Jess is an amazing host, who answered every inquiry immediately and communicated all instructions for occupying the residence in a timely and thoughtful manner. The property is in excellent condition, with very thoughtful and complete amenities, for cooking, bathing, entertainment, etc. Everything you could want was carefully planned for. We had 12 people (7 adults and 5 teenagers) and everyone had a great time. The dining table was a highlight for our family, as we were all able to enjoy meals together. The Wi-Fi and the streaming service for all of the TV's all worked flawlessly. Should the occasion arise, we would definitely rent this property again, and will highly recommend it to family and friends.

We had our annual family vacation at this property. It was the perfect home for our needs. The bedrooms and bathrooms accommodated our three families really well. We also really enjoyed the screened room and deck. It is located close to the Owner’s Club which we took advantage of as well. Also the property owners were extremely easy to communicate with and we hope to stay there again.

This was the perfect home for our family gathering! We had so much room to hang out and the dining table was amazing. This was the best-supplied VRBO I’ve ever stayed in - it had everything! The ability to use the owners club was fantastic and the house was just a short drive from downtown. The hosts were communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. We loved our stay and would book again if we return to Galena.

The house is PERFECT! We’ve stayed in a lot of rental houses and this was definitely one of the best! It was stocked with everything you need for a great and relaxing vacation. Owner was extremely responsive and helped answer any questions.

Overall good house and configuration for multiple families, we stayed with 3 families and everyone has their space and still plenty of space to gather.

Our family enjoyed being able to extend our time together over the Holiday at your property. It was large enough for all of us to be together and had plenty of room to spread out if we wanted to. Thank you for this opportunity to make memories that will last a lifetime.

We utilized this location for a work event! This home has everything you need with plenty of space for everyone to “stretch out”. It is convenient for the downtown area, but still gives you that “out of the city” feel. The owner was very helpful in making us aware of all the amenities of the house. We will definitely stay in this property again.

My family of 14 rents a house in Galena every year for Thanksgiving, and this was definably one of our favorites!! The house was clean, comfortable, and well stocked!

Wonderful, spacious home with everything you could want or need! Jess, the owner, was helpful and excellent at communication prior to arriving and then upon our departure. Home is beautiful and accommodated our group of 13 with great ease! Equipment for the 1 yr old in our group was wonderful! A very beautiful and comfortable home!

We were a group of 7 women and had a fantastic time at this home! There are 6 bedrooms (4 of which have en suite bathrooms and the other two pretty much have their own private bathroom in the hallway). The home was clean and the downstairs area had its own small sink, refrigerator and bar area. The home is stocked with all the kitchen supplies you need AND coffee. The fridge has an ice maker and filtered water as well. It was cooler during our stay so we didn't get to use the sunroom, but the hot tub was amazing! The home is also very close to the spa (1/2 mile). We didn't use the clubhouse, but in the summer that would be fantastic. Check-in and check-out was a breeze as well and response times were immediate. We are already talking about staying here again!

We had 6 couples get together and everyone thoroughly enjoyed both the “Gathering Place” as well as Galena’s shops and great restaurants. It was fantastic that each couple had their own bathroom. The house was well stocked and all communications were prompt. We hope to make this an annual event.

The gathering place was a excellent choice for our large family. It was well stocked with supplies, toys & games. Most of the bedrooms had their own bathroom. Location was great for everyone.

Good location and well suited for our group of 12. All had their separate private areas for bed/baths. House was clean and property managers were responsive to our needs. Very children friendly.
