The Flowers House - Downtown Historic Home in the Heart of Mount Dora

T he Flowers home offered every amenity we desired for celebrating my husband's 80th birthday. Our hosts went above and beyond to ensure our comfort at every level. I would highly recommend this property to any and all. Each room came with a refrigerator filled with cold waters, coffee & tea service in each room, in addition to a fully stocked kitchen. These people know how to go the extra mile. We will be returning within the year!

We found this Flower House to be just perfect! It was everything it said it would be plus lots of little extras! The location was perfect to walk downtown. The owner was so nice! You won’t be disappointed!!!!

Everything about this property checked all the boxes. Very clean, spacious, five bedrooms and most with their own bathrooms. Hosts very prompt in answering questions. Wonderfully close to downtown with great shops and restaurants. We never used our car once we arrived. Look forward to staying here again!

Amazing home. Well decorated and stocked. We were 4 couples traveling and all really enjoyed. Planning our next visit already.

Great home, clean, everything we needed or wanted was there, beds very comfortable ,location is the best, walkable to everything Host was very accommodating and answered any questions within a few minutes.

As we look forward to our next stay here, I hesitantly say....What a gem! The property is perfectly located to the downtown area, everything is in walking distance and the property as exactly as described and even more charming in person. We especially loved the porch and perfect spot to relax and unwind and watch the world go by! The home was spotless, the beds were comfortable and the communication with the host was excellent throughout our stay. You can tell the hosts put a lot of thought into making their guests feel welcome. A five star experience!

Everything was perfect, there were 8 ladies with ages from 24 to 85, and everyone was very happy with the house, the host, neighborhood, and proximity to downtown.

Everything about this house is well thought out and welcoming! We’ve rented many VRBO homes over the years and this house is one of our favorites. It’s very walkable to shopping and restaurants too. We will be back!

The Flowers House was the best All the amenities anyone could ask for and more. Clean, parking was prefect, beds were comfortable. They thought of everything. So close to everything, we never drove to anything. It was a perfect house for a group of 70 year old ladies to have fun..

It was an absolute wonderful and beautifully decorated place. Very comfortable.

OUTSTANDING - Made trip to Mt. Dora so special, The Flowers House is the perfect place to stay, charming old house with plenty of space, everything as advertised, owners easy to contact, location perfect, short walks to town, glean, well stocked, can not say enough. Will use next time we visit.

Pamela was a fantastic host. Whenever I reached with a question, I received a reply quickly. House is lovely! Great location too. We would stay again.

The owners, Pam and Andrew Flowers, made us feel so welcome, and decorated the entire home for Christmas. It's about a 3 block walk to the heart of Mt.Dora, very convenient. Enjoyed every minute!

Great house and location for ‘Light Up Mt. Dora’ festivities. Just a couple of blocks from the main town area, so no driving necessary once parked at the house. Wonderful screened in front porch and a lovely fire pit area in the backyard. We will return to the beautiful Flowers House.

This was our second opportunity to enjoy The Flowers House and we thoroughly enjoyed both stays! Perfect location for restaurants and shops. There were three women and three girls with plenty of space for all including the hair and makeup drama that goes with a crowd like that! Exceptionally clean, we felt safe, and owners responded immediately to any questions we had. We are looking forward to our next stay! Thank you Pam for sharing your lovely hpme!

Amazing VRBO! This was our second stay at the Flowers House and certainly not our last. The common areas are pleasingly and comfortably furnished (and equipped) with everything that we needed to relax and celebrate. Tastefully decorated large bedrooms and bathrooms with all the necessities. The only problem was deciding where to gather.... The front porch, the seats around the fire pit, the large dining room table, or the comfy sofas!!! During our 3 days we had ONE lunch in town because we enjoyed preparing and enjoying all of our meals in the comfort of this home. Enjoyed Mt Dora shops, walking, and kayaking!
