I chose this property last minute because of vey limited availability of places to stay and trying to save money after putting one our daughters wedding the day before. We decided to stay one more night to try to relax and just enjoy the lake after every one else went home. I don't expect fancy but I do expect a clean comfortable, functional, space to relax and sleep. It was clean and the bed seemed comfortable enough if we had been able to get any sleep. Upon entering the cabin it felt like an oven and so extremely hot I felt like I would melt on the spot. There was no air conditioning, which I failed to look for upon booking. All the windows were unable to open except the bathroom window. There was one old square box fan we tried to use that didn't do any more than make it feel like a convection oven. Being so exhausted after the long week we decided just try to go to sleep and hope it would cool off after a bit but by 10:30 we were so miserable we just got up and went to a local hotel. The money we spent on this place was a complete waste. No one can sleep in that kind of heat!
No way to cool the house during the summer. Cannot open any windows, no A/C ( which listing does not say included ), The house did have a ceiling fan and a box fan which pushed the hot air around. During check-in, we were given the wrong code but owner was very responsive and gave us the correct one. The house is old but clean with a large fenced lot for pets.
It was a nice little place but I suggest you get a small air conditioning unit it was very warm and stuffy and it took a long time for us to cool it down late in the evening
Simple small house. It is an older building. It has a great chain link yard not just an enclosed area. When I have questions the owner calls back within 5 min. I would definitely go back again.
