'The FiveTen Federal' - Downtown Galena Gem!

It was perfect, better than any hotel could offer. We had a nice bedrooms, two bathrooms and a wonderful place to sit and enjoy time together.

We absolutely loved staying in this adorable, cozy home!! It oozes character in every room and it had everything we needed for our stay. There even was a “make up” towel for the ladies to use, which I thought was a special touch. We had a blast in the “disco cave” and danced all night in it. The location is perfect because it’s just a few blocks away from the down town shopping and restaurants. It’s wonderful to be able to just park the car and walk everywhere.If I could give 6 stars I would! Highly recommend

The house had lots of charm of an older home with benefits of updated kitchen. The stairs were a little tricky for handling luggage to the upstairs bedrooms. Thankful that there were good handrails.

Overall the stay met our expectations. The house was nice and quaint and as described. The kitchen area was great for a group hangout. The location was convient and close to downtown with parking. The walk was about 10 minutes to Main street and shops/parks/food/etc. Cute town and the Halloween parade was fun to see.

I would definitely recommend staying at 510 Federal. From the minute you walk in the door you are embraced by the tastefully decorated living room. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We really enjoyed getting together in the cave and listening to music and catching up with our traveling companions. The user guide was very helpful and informative with easy to follow instructions and suggestions for dining and exploring the town. Only being a few minutes from downtown town was great. And such a very relaxing quiet area. I was surprised by the size of the rooms for being an older historic home.

Property was very clean, comfortable and accommodating. The check-in was very easy and accessible to downtown shopping and restaurants. It is about 15 minute walk, but due to uneven pavement/sidewalks it took us longer just to be safe. We will be back!

When we first entered the home there was a very strong musty smell. After turning the air on and getting air through the house it did get better. Overall stay was great! They had everything you needed there and some. Walking distance to downtown.

My husband and i stayed here with our dog and 2 other couples. We all had plenty of space. The house was great! Dog friendly. Clean. Comfy beds. The cave room was cool for playing games and listening to records. We will stay here again!

This is our 2nd time staying here. We love the home and all its amenities. Plus it’s located in the heart of Galena!

What a great place! It is close to downtown, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, the furniture was in good condition, and the air conditioning was awesome even in the extreme heat we had. Nice job remodeling and updating an old home!

Location to downtown is excellent. The road is in construction so it is a bit rough and it is also very narrow. The house has a driveway, so not an issue for us. The house has a ton of character and it was neat to stay in such a historic district! The steps to the upstairs where all the bedrooms are, are quite steep. My one issue was the keypad!!! We walked everywhere and to leave and try to lock the door, nothing short of frustrating. 5 women and 20 mins to lock a door. The deadbolt will only latch if you have it in the EXACT spot it needs to be. Otherwise, there was really nothing we felt was lacking. The house is well equipped. Thank you for sharing your home!

We stayed at this house for our company Christmas party and were pleased with our stay. It was very clean, and the disco room was a unique and fun room to hang out in. One of the bedrooms was a bit cozy, but the communal areas were spacious and nicely decorated. The location was great—just far enough away from the busy Main Street of Galena, but close enough to get there with a quick walk.Would stay here again!

Great location and amazing space

It was a nice place to stay and we had everything that we needed. A little pricey compared to other homes that we have stayed at.

Ideally situated for exploring, and a great place to hang out in between activities. Extra dog-friendly, and accessible for senior dogs. Our 15 year old Lab, who can be anxious in new places, was very comfortable and enjoyed his walks into town (especially all the attention he received at Poopsie's). Kitchen is well-equipped, and the beds were way more comfortable than most places we've stayed. My daughter also really loved the record player and album selection.

My husband and I stayed at FiveTen General over the 4th of July weekend. The home is so cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed our time walking around the downtown Galena area too. Our fur babies enjoyed the place too!!

The house was great. Close proximity to downtown. Excellent setting.

We loved our time. The home was clean and we ended up using the kitchen a ton for cooking every meal. Our dog loved the dog toys and had the best time. We will absolutely be back!

The place was wonderful, well stocked, and perfectly decorated.It was close to town and very walkable. I would recommend. Only downfall is the one shower. We knew that going in so it was not an issue. We were able to check in early with a quick ask and a quick respond back!!!
