Wetumpka, Alabama
This beautiful property was home to civil rights activists Clifford and Virginia Durr. This is a 4 bed 3 bath home with outdoor swinging beds, dining for 8 under the century old scuppernong arbor, a rear deck that can easily seat 20, and the swimming holes and waterfalls of Corn Creek right out back. Come have a cocktail on the back deck, play a game of horseshoes and hang a hammock by the water rushing over the granite boulders and finally relax. We look forward to seeing you!!

My son and another team had a fishing tournament on Lake Jordan. Our stay was get the house as comfortable me the back yard was amazing.
Awesome property, great hosts. 1000000/10
We enjoyed the historic home and the history story throughout. The creek in the backyard has wonderful ambiance.
The house was not clean, Dust build up and full of spider webs. We understand historic, but historic doesn't mean you don't have to clean up. All the doors are jammed, and the front door looked like it had been broken into in the past. We did not have access to laundry room and multiple doors on the house. Small pantries with supplies are understandable and fine but with the front door not being secure it was a little unnerving to not have access to a whole room that someone could have been in. The photos of the creek make it seem really close to the house, but it is down a ravine and isn't easy to get up and down.
