THE DRAKE ON LAKE AVALON near the Oz trails

Such a cute spot. The pictures perfectly showed what the location and house would look like. We had a great Thanksgiving stay!!!

This home was welcoming! It made us feel like we were home. There’s games, a beautiful GOD-Given scenery, plenty of SPACE to enJOY family and friends. Open floor plan upstairs. Two balconies/patios. While we didn’t engage in the water activities, it’s there too!! The area, Bella Vista, is nice. The neighbors weren’t overbearing or make you feel like you don’t belong. We have rented in this neighborhood before. So, both times, very pleasant.

Just got home from a fabulous stay at the Drake. It is a gorgeous home that comfortably fit 10 (6 adults, 4 kids) with beautiful views of the lake. We were there primarily for mountain biking and took advantage of the trail access nearby. We spent most of our time in Bentonville, though, riding the trails there. Regardless of what you are there for, I highly recommend the Drake. We hope we can visit again next year!

Upon arrival to the property it was exactly as described and was extremely clean. We made the decision on this place due to the proximity to the Mildred B. Cooper Chapel for a family member’s wedding and the direct lake access. It was peaceful and perfect for 3 couples (we did not travel with any children). Of note, the driveway is fairly tight and due to not being able to park in the street, I am not sure 3 Toyota sized Tundra vehicles would fit. Otherwise, the property is extremely nice and a perfect getaway!

Great place to stay! Everything you could want in a getaway. Plenty of room for 3 families to relax and have fun together. Had great communication with host and look forward to another stay at their properties.

Pros: Beautiful area. Hiking trails near by! Gorgeous home, very clean, modern. Spacious with plenty of room to sleep large party, very open floor concept. Bedroom bed downstairs was broken - property manager was quick to come and fix. Great location for lake access and activities - we didn’t utilize this early in spring but great for summer! Cons: The neighborhood made it impossible for all guests (staying in home) and family visiting to have parking. No parking allowed on streets-this should be included in listing before booking. Compared to other listings had a later check-in time and early check-out time. Faucets leaked in one bathroom couldn’t use during our stay. Originally booked for a hot tub feature. Arrived and didn’t have a hot tub - not sure if this was a VRBO filter error. Overall property manager and owner accommodating and responsive to messages.

We had a great stay at Drake on the lake. Quick drive in to bentonville and close to tanyard creek trails. Kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed for cooking. Beds were nice and living space had plenty of room for playing games/socializing.

This property and our stay was wonderful. All amenities were so well thought out and we had everything we needed and more. The decor, furniture and all rooms are maticulouy thought of and done.

This property was beautiful and close by all of our favorite things. We loved spending evenings outside and time in the lake.
