Stayed Jun 26, 2025We had a very enjoyable stay. The property looks exactly like the photos. Comfortable beds, extremely clean, good water pressure for showers. Our hosts were thoughtful and communicative. We highly recommend staying at the Cougar Den.

Stayed Oct 10, 2025Everything was excellent and very professional with super cool style. We especially liked that the Tonquin Beach trail is very close. This trail is the best/longest trail in Tofino and it's excellent for sunset hikes/runs along the west-facing coast We would definitely stay there again!

Stayed Jul 11, 2025It was excellent. The Cougar Den was much larger than the pictures showed. It had everything we needed, and very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed May 12, 2025Easy walk to and from town. Beautiful home with tons of light and open, natural feel. Host very responsive. Listing on VRBO did not disclose there is a tenant living in the basement so you don’t have the house to yourself. Also does not disclose quiet hours. Would be helpful to also add a host book with WiFi code, but our 5G worked fine. Also VRBO has listed as 1 bedroom, but it has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Some work to do to communicate expectations, but I’m sure that will come with time. Would still recommend for quiet retreat.
