The Cottage Downtown Denver

Lovely!

We had a great stay at the Cottage in downtown Denver. It is conveniently located within walking distance of the capital and downtown activities. There is a funky bar right across the street with good food and cocktails. This old home has been renovated with a very top-end kitchen, washer/dryer, nice linens, very comfortable beds, and a nice outdoor space (for spring & summer). Parking was in the alley behind the house.

Everything was perfect. The house was well stocked, conveniently located and cozy for our family holiday get together! Definitely recommend.

We booked this stay for a trip with my niece and nephew. It was a great location to the museums, downtown and the botanical garden. We walked everywhere. The house is comfortable, especially the beds, and very clean. We did not cook but had quick access to a variety of restaurants. The communication with the owner was great. I highly recommend.

We had the best time here. The house was perfect with plenty of place to kick back and visit, both inside and out. It is in walking distance to some great sites and even better eats and sips. We highly recommend Carboy for lunch and delicious wine.

This was the quintessential cottage with the white picked fence. Very clean, extremely well stocked, interesting decorated. Good location. Will absolutely recommend this home.

Such a lovely home and near so much fun stuff

Everything about this place is as described. Not a far walk from anything you need if you don't mind a little walk. We stayed for a conference for a few days that was at the convention center and walked to and from daily. Overall a great stay with everything you need in the house.

We were on a cross country trip and stop to stay a few nights to visit our son. We had plenty of room to spread out and relax between activities. We enjoyed being in a historic home in Denver. Response time was very quick. Would stay again!

My two sisters and I stayed in this wonderful cottage for four nights. I would definitely recommend it anyone looking for a convenient place in downtown. It was very clean and comfortable. All of my communications with Christine were very pleasant, she responded quickly whenever I wrote to her. All in all, a very pleasant experience!

The Cottage is a delightful place to stay, near downtown and Cheesman Park. It is a very comfortable old home, wonderfully unique in the neighborhood.

We needed a home close to Cherry Creek for my wife, adult son and his girlfriend for a long weekend visiting family. This home was wonderful. Cozy with refurbished kitchen and bedrooms. Master bath was a bit small with only a small stall shower, but it was not a detriment to enjoying staying there. Wonderful roomy outdoor space w/ grill. Upstairs 2 bedrooms with a full shared bath were comfortable. Kitchen was fully equipped, though fridge did not have an ice or water dispenser. Coffee was thankfully provided! Central location walking distance to restaurants, bars & coffee shops was great. Will definitely stay again.

This is a charming and historic property with lots of character. It was very spacious for two adult couples and a toddler. Everything was clean, the kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfy. The host was easy to communicate with and accommodating. We were in town for a wedding and the master bath was tricky to get ready in due to a lack of counter space, inadequate lighting and a low mirror. There was also no full length mirror. These issues were just particular to our situation and had we not needed to dress up, they wouldn’t have concerned us.

We enjoyed the stay.

We loved the cottage. Everything went as smoothly as we had hoped, including check in, amenities and communication with the host. It is within walking distance of shops, restaurants and places of interest. But, after a long day it was wonderful to Come “home” and relax and enjoy the cottage. We all got good night sleeps because the beds were so comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

Our family had a fantastic day at this historic Capitol Hill charmer. The decor is wonderful with a mix of original and updated that makes it extremely livable and comfortable. Thanks so much, Christine!

Lovely home, incredibly clean and functional. Great location and sweet yards to hang out in. The host is superb and is quick to respond to any questions. The only thing that could be improved is the dryer. Couldn’t get it to dry our unexpected load of laundry.

Back yard was small and friendly. Home is old so don’t expect perfect but it’s beautifully done. We hope to stay again…all your small needs are a walk away.
