Weekend in Waco! This little house was perfect for my family!! The owner was super nice and helpful!
Great house, plenty of space, everything just as described. Great communication with hosts.
I recently stayed at this property, and I must say that our experience was just okay. There were some positive aspects to our stay, like the enjoyable fire pit and the corn hole, but there were a few issues that left us somewhat dissatisfied. First, let's start with the cleanliness of the property. While it was mostly clean, we were quite surprised to find dog hair on our linens. This was a bit off-putting and made us question the thoroughness of the cleaning process. Another concern was the size of the bathrooms, which we found to be on the smaller side. This may not be a deal-breaker for everyone, but it's worth noting for those who value spacious bathrooms. Perhaps the most significant issue during our stay was the presence of a groundkeeper. He showed up unannounced on one occasion, and to make matters worse, he was also there when we arrived. His behavior was rather unsettling as he failed to acknowledge our presence and only said something after I approached him to inquire why he was there. Even on a subsequent visit, a day later, he worked in the garage and left without acknowledging us or explaining his purpose. I must give credit to the property owner for being responsive to our concerns, as they did their best to address the situation. However, the whole incident left us feeling very uncomfortable during our stay. Overall, this property has potential, but the unexpected and unexplained presence of the groundkeeper made our experience less enjoyable than we
The house is cute and was comfortable for the three of us. The neighborhood was a nice and quiet area. We were able to navigate to all the areas we wanted to see in Waco. We had to be extremely careful in parking our rental car on the driveway. The right side of the driveway has a huge hole on the left and needs to be fixed, it could cause major damage to a car.
Cute little house in a quiet neighborhood. Most Waco attractions are within 5-10 minutes. Excellent communication from the host! Would definitely recommend. My only issue was the small size of the refrigerator. We bought groceries for 7 people, for 4 days before we got to the house and didn't realize it was a dorm sized fridge so we had to get creative. That's probably my fault though. All in all, great vacation house!
The property was just right for my husband and myself and our two small dogs. House was clean and had everything we needed for our stay.
We stayed in this cottage for 2 nights as we were on a family road trip. Plenty of space and had everything we needed during our stay. The neighborhood is peaceful quiet, just minutes away from downtown with lots of shopping and many food choices! I would book this cottage if we visit Waco again.
Our stay was EXCELLENT! Ashley was a phenomenal host who made sure we were well taken care of. Check in and check out information was clear, the house was clean (which always makes it easy to take care of.) It was a great location to all the sights. All in all, I would definitely stay here again. 10/10!!!
This home is great! From the check-in to the final locking of the house, our stay was as smooth and peaceful as we could ask for! Any question we had was answered promptly, even when we forgot something and went back after checking out. Definitely would stay again!
We were traveling with 2 big dogs and a cat. We picked this location since it was a short drive to everything we wanted to check out in Waco, and seemed well set up to accommodate pets without a lot of potential for trouble, like fragile knickknacks. The neighborhood was quiet and the beds were comfortable. The backyard set up didn't look as nice as the photo's, and you have to exit the back door of the house and go thru a gate to get to the backyard. I had to put our dogs on leash to do this because I can't trust them to make that short trip without getting seriously distracted by the local cats. The description states cable/satellite TV, but it's streaming only -Roku, Sling & Netflix are provided. Otherwise I would say it was exactly as advertised and as shown in the photos.
It was a place to sleep and a hot shower. We felt safe and comfortable. The living room furniture seemed old and the carpet was dirty. There were long white animal hair’s found throughout the house. This appeared to be the work of a first time flipper. It just needs a little more attention to detail.
It was a nice place that met the needs of our family.
Great stay. Owners communication was awesome and very comforting! Would stay here again!
Ashley is wonderful to deal with she responds quickly and even checked on us during our stay to ensure everything was good.
Perfect place to stay if you’re looking for quiet away from downtown Waco (which we were). Three very large bedrooms, large backyard, and pet friendly.
Great place to stay as a visitor for a Baylor football game. Property is clean, easy to find, close to everything, & host is very helpful if you need anything!
Property owners were super nice! Only issue is property is not good for older seniors. It would be perfect for a young group.
We were looking for a quiet, stress-free short vacay in Waco to celebrate our anniversary. The Brookview house was located conveniently near all we were wanting to do.
This home was nicely maintained and had everything we needed to enjoy a Baylor Graduation.
This home was so convenient to downtown Waco, great restaurants and Cameron Park! It was very comfortable for late night conversations, and early morning coffee on the front porch with folding chairs from the back yard. A great weekend catching up with friends!
Comfortable home close to everything in Waco. Great value.
