Stayed Jun 13, 2025How lucky we were to find this wonderful place. Loved everything about the Captains Quarters inside and out, especially the beautiful sunrises over the marsh! Loved the slow pace of this unique little sleepy town. mThe home was special and the hospitality from the hosts made us feel like family.Equipped with everything, except the wine! But we were prepared and wined and dined on the deck almost every evening surrounded by such beautiful surroundings.Thanks for sharing this golden jewel. We will return!

Stayed Apr 14, 2024The accommodations were outstanding. The back deck was perfect for watching morning sunrises as well as enjoying the wonderful cool breezes coming in over the St Mary’s River and saltwater marsh. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

Stayed Mar 14, 2024The host was most accommodating and informative as well as very friendly. This was a prefect location to catch the ferry to Cumberland Island or to go for a stroll in charming downtown St. Mary’s. Centrally located to points of interest like Fort Clinch and Amelia Island. Sunrise with coffee overlooking the beautiful marsh was everything we could ask for.
