The Bonnycastle 6BR New Orleans Speakeasy Hot Tub, Private Backyard & Playground

Beautiful older home with all the needed and contemporary updates! Both kitchens are amazing, the size of the property is massive! We enjoyed our stay, and we’re here to celebrate my daughter’s 9th birthday with a sleepover and hot tub! Great hide and seek! And…you can see how nice this place would be for an adult trip only! Great and responsive owners, and property is very well kept!! Definitely recommend!

This house was super cool (built in the 1900s!) and very spacious! It was clean and the beds were very comfortable! We absolutely loved the location, walkable to so many places and also short uber rides/drives to other attractions! We did have an almost 2 year old with us and overall it was manageable (the stairs were challenging) but the yard and play set were perfect! The downstairs kitchen didn’t have a microwave, and it had very limited utensils and serving wear overall, which was inconvenient! The upstairs kitchen had a microwave and more kitchen utensils. There was plenty of parking in the back and the hot tub worked great and was warm! We really enjoyed our stay and would booked again! Thank you, Tony!

We booked this home primarily because of the hot tub, but unfortunately it was not functioning during our stay. Multiple jets came unglued, and while the owner was very responsive and maintenance came out the same day to attempt a repair, the fix did not hold, leaving the hot tub unusable. This was a disappointment given it was one of the main reasons we chose the property.That said, the house itself is lovely - spacious, clean, and well-decorated with a fun New Orleans speakeasy theme. The location is excellent, making it easy to access nearby attractions. The host’s responsiveness and effort to address issues stood out and was greatly appreciated.Overall, while the non-working hot tub was a letdown, the home and host were wonderful, and with the hot tub repaired, this would be an outstanding rental.

Perfect location and space for a family of 11. We were very comfortable and the 2 kitchens helped tremendously. The house has everything you would possibly need. The location is in walking distance from several unique dining and coffee shops . The owners were very accommodating for early check-in and quickly responded to any questions we had. Highly recommend!!!

We had an amazing stay at Tony and Christine’s Highland Home. The house was spotless, full of charm, and felt incredibly welcoming. We loved having two kitchens and so much space for our group to spread out and relax. The dining room was perfect for game night, and the house is stocked with tons of games, which made our evenings even more fun. The backyard, hot tub, and patio were also favorites and great spots to unwind. The location couldn’t be better, with coffee shops, restaurants, bars, and boutiques all within walking distance. The neighborhood felt very safe and full of energy, with people out enjoying everything the area has to offer. Private off-street parking was a huge bonus. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts. We’ll definitely be back!

We wanted to stay 10 minutes from my sister and this location was perfect! We actually walked to one of our dinner reservations that she booked. Everything is so close in the city, so this was the perfect location. It fit 4 families total very comfortably and the yard was perfection for our little kids. They enjoyed the hot tub daily, as well! Tony was so nice and communicated very well with us. We will definitely be back!

This house was absolutely perfect for our large group. The two kitchens made meal prep effortless, and the unexpected hot tub was a wonderful bonus. The neighborhood, with its historic homes, is peaceful, safe, and beautiful. We loved how walkable the area was, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Strolling the quiet streets at night was one of our favorite parts. The hosts were outstanding, ensuring everything was seamless. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

We had the house for a wedding weekend in Louisville. The location was great, one block walk to Bardstown Road. We were three couples and had more than enough space. We had no complaints and would stay again.

Our group of 8 friends loved everything about our stay at Bonnycastle. The house was great, the hosts were beyond helpful and responsive! The fact that we could walk to SOOOO many stores, restaurants, coffee shops, etc was wonderful. Absolutely recommend

Even better than the pictures! This location is outstanding, nestled in a historic district. The house boasts ample off-street parking, shines with cleanliness, and exudes charm and coziness while offering generous space. It's within walking distance to boutique shops, numerous dining, and cocktail venues. Having stayed in the Highlands previously, we greatly favor this side of the Highlands for its safety. The area is lively, yet free from the younger crowds found at the other end of the Highlands.

From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by how big and charming this place was. Two kitchens, and a massive dining table that fit all of us perfectly for meals and card games. The game room was a huge hit. The outdoor fire pit and back yard were used every single day. The kitchens had everything we needed, and the fenced yard was very private and made all the girls comfortable. I could keep going on about how much we loved this place and the area. The decor is even better in person than in the pictures! Tony and Christine were awesome to deal with too!

This home is so comfortable and charming. It's an upscale neighborhood with old mansions. Located just far enough off Bardstown Road, so you don't hear the traffic, it is very walkable to great restaurants, bars, and boutique shopping. We loved the two kitchens, and the huge dining room. In addition to the fenced back yard with solo firepit!

We loved our stay at The Bonneycastle! The house was as described and had lots room. Tony the host was extremely responsive and helpful. The neighborhood was great and there was a ton of stuff within walking distance. I highly recommend staying here!

We were a group of 11 in town for a family reunion. Loved the Bonnycastle House for the location, roominess, back yard, but most importantly, the responsiveness of the Hosts. Easy to see why they are Super Hosts! Would definitely stay again if the opportunity arises!

Our group of 8 guys had a great time at the Bonnycastle. The location was perfect for bourbon trail exploring. Our driver picked us up at the house on travel days and several Louisville distilleries were close by to venture out on our own. The location is also convenient to restaurants and bars. We enjoyed hanging out in the back yard each night.

We loved our stay in this beautiful, large historic home. The neighborhood is safe and boasts stunning architecture. It's within walking distance to numerous shops, restaurants, and nightlife spots. The house is beautifully decorated and much more spacious than we anticipated. It was exceptionally clean and equipped with all the amenities we could have asked for. The host was exceptional, and the check-in process was a breeze. We will definitely stay here again!

These folks went out of their way to accommodate our group and was available for any questions. By far the most pleasant rental experience we've ever had. Would definitely recommend 1000%. Simply awesome!
