The Beach Castle

Wonderful stay and already planning our next visit! Such a beautiful and unique location, very private yet walking distance to several restaurants. Our kids loved shell hunting and everyone loved the serene setting. House allowed plenty of room to spread out and has also maintained its New England beach house character.

Beautiful historic house in extraordinary location. The unique details and artful spaces were a delight. The porch offered a particularly special place for our group to meet and connect. That said, there were a few challenges including issues with the lighting and insufficient supplies of paper towels/toilet paper. Still overall, it was a beautiful stay and I'd recommend! Appreciate the time the owner took to respond to questions.

The house itself was beautiful and in an unbeatable location—right on the beach. That part was perfect.But for a group of 14, it was shocking to arrive and find the house stocked with just one roll of toilet paper and one roll of paper towels. No advance notice, no basic supplies. For a property advertised as being ideal for large groups, this is completely unacceptable.We had to waste time and money buying essentials that any reasonable host would provide. If you’re charging for a vacation rental, the bare minimum is making sure guests can use the bathroom without having to bring their own stockpile of supplies.To make matters worse, you’re expected to bring your own sheets and towels, and if you use any of the limited ones on-site, you’re required to wash and dry them before leaving at 10AM!! It honestly felt like we were being taken advantage of.Bottom line: Don’t assume anything is included. Be prepared to bring everything yourself and expect the bare minimum. Beautiful home, but seriously lacking in basic hospitality.

The house was a perfect fit for our group. It was the best vacation we ever we ever had as a group!

A family gathering with all our favorite people in the world. Brothers, sisters, spouses, nieces, nephews, daughter in law and grandchild. Pure joy in one of the most beautiful places on earth. The house was perfect and are already looking towards another trip next year. Thank you for the memories.

The beach castle is absolutely wonderful. It is a historic property, very well maintained, with breathtaking water views. We were 3 families with children ages 2 - 11 and we had a wonderful time. What else do you need when the beach is a few steps down your front door? Nothing! We highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to make once in a lifetime memories.

My family enjoyed our vacation at the Beach Castle. For years our kids called it the witches house and it was great to finally stay there! The location could not be better, the walk to the beach amazing and the front porch is the highlight. Beautiful breezes and a fantastic 180 view of the beach, great island, the pier area and Indian head. The amenities were perfect, and the number of bedrooms meant plenty of room to spread out. We all enjoyed it and hope we can do it again.

It exceeded our expectations! It was perfect for our family reunion. LOVED the open air porch. Kitchen was very well equipped which our cooks enjoyed. I hope we are able to return soon! Thank you so much!

Great place to stay. The host always messaged me back with answers to my questions. The beach was wonderful but the best was the porch where I spent most of my time. My family loved the short drive to restaurants. We would love to stay again. I can’t say enough great things about the beach castle. Thank you for a wonderful vacation

We adore the beach castle and have had a fantastic time every visit. The house is authentic old Cape Cod, in a nonesuch location, and totally beautiful.
