We enjoyed our stay and it was clean. The bed isn’t bad and it’s a really cute place. Convenient to downtown, and quiet. Our only complaints was the water that comes out of the shower head is barely warm and I messaged the host with no reply, communication was not great. The faucet to the tub is plenty hot but the shower has a separate turn on than the tub.

Our stay was okay overall. The barn was clean, had a cozy interior, and was conveniently located within walking distance to main street. However, the door couldn’t be properly locked, which made us feel unsafe and is a security concern.Additionally, the walls were very thin and the metal roof made every bit of storm noise extremely loud. It’s definitely not ideal for light sleepers or during bad weather. Check in instructions were clear but office was closed during indicated office hours. Notification of this was sent to us after our departure. The listed after-hours phone number was unresponsive.Because of these factors, the experience didn’t fully meet our expectations and received the 3* review.

Host company was friendly. Check in & check out were easy. The bed was comfortable. The overall experience at the barn was okay. But there are definitely some improvements that need to be made to make it become all it can be. First off there is no where to store luggage & minimal space for hanging clothes. We weren’t able to take a hot shower the whole time. The shower water barely got lukewarm. We were only given 2 towels for a 3 night stay. And the worst was the last night we were there, I had dropped my AirPod by the bed and when I went to look for it there were mouse droppings on the boxspring and along the baseboard. That was very alarming and disturbing. Took me awhile before I could fall asleep. Afraid I might encounter a furry creature in bed with me. Also the door was not very secure. So left our safety somewhat questionable.
