Lovely 2 bedroom home. Fantastic back yard for our dog. The neighborhood was lovely and so very quiet.
A perfect place to stay if you have a kid at USC
House ia pretty comfortable, cleaning, all you need for your stay, nice back yard, easy communication with the host.. close to everything..
If you're looking for a home away from home, stay here. My wife and I stayed at the Bailey Cottage for 8 days. Our dogs loved the fenced in backyard, friendly doggie neighbors, and walkable neighborhood (complete with a park just a skip away). We loved the inclusive, kind neighborhood, the proximity to great food and drinks (Il Focolare and The Warmouth are amazing eats less than a 5 min drive away), and the privacy. We cooked most of our meals at home and even hosted a dinner for my Mom on Mother's Day -- even though the home is small (and the kitchen is tiny!) we never felt cramped, only cozy. This stay is a great bang for your buck. I'm from Columbia and plan to stay here every time we visit my family.
The property and neighborhood was older, but clean and quaint. Location was great and close to all the go to sites. Met our needs for a weekend get away.
The property was old they did some remodeling it was clean but smelled stale when we entered kind of like oldish kind of smell not some thing that I’m too happy with. We arrived after dark there’s no lighting and there’s a small opening between the bushes with a trip spot that I tripped over every time I walked past it unloading our luggage and in the morning because we had to leave before the light came out as we had to be to the graduation at 6 AM. We couldn’t see any number on the house so we looked across the street to kind of figure out if that was the right property. We also couldn’t figure out how to get the TV to work without putting in our phone number or something I didn’t understand it so we didn’t even watch TV. House is located in an older section of town that has historic looking homes that were very pretty the house itself wasn’t bad it’s just in a back street that was kind of creepy for two women to be getting out of the car with no lights on at all some solar lights some motion lights would be very helpful there. Or have someone put porch lights on because there is steps that we had to stumble up also because it was dark we used our phone flash light. They do need to fix some things the bathroom towel rack is about to fall off and the sink didn’t drain very well so we ended up brushing our teeth in the kitchen and washing our face there. We were afraid to use the bathroom sink because like I said it wasn’t draining properly. We only ended up staying one night because we were from Florida and we had to leave immediately after the graduation because there was a hurricane coming and we didn’t wanna get caught in it which we ended up getting caught in. Honestly I don’t wanna put down any property but I wouldn’t stay there again when we first pulled up like I said because it was so dark and dreary looking we almost checked into a hotel but we stay the one night.
It was a nice quiet stay, location was just right!!
The house is located in a quiet neighborhood with adorable historic houses. It worked well for my husband and I and our two dogs. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. The shower pressure was very nice and the refrigerator was spotless and cold. We did not cook in the kitchen but the oven appeared new and in working order. There is a large fenced in back yard for children and pets and a park with a playground at the end of the block. It is nicely located just minutes from downtown. Overall, we had zero complaints with the house and were extremely pleased with the promptness and detailed instructions from Heartwood Furnished Homes. We would absolutely stay at this location again.
Nice little house perfect for a weekend stay in Columbia. The Heartwood team was very helpful.
We immensely enjoyed our stay. We actually added an extra day we were so comfortable. Extremely clean home, The host(s) responded quickly to any questions, etc. Quiet area. The remote to the ceiling fan was nice touch. There is a roku tv with internet in the living room, but The only recommendation I have is additional t.v and roku in one of the bedrooms. It was a easy fix for us as we bought our own tv and roku box for the bedroom. My daughter used the living room roku tv. WE WILL DEFINITELY BOOK AGAIN!!!
Perfect for our stay. The park is nearby and a great place to walk the dogs. Easy to cook and enjoy the convenience of home. Close to everything.
A wonderful little house in a historic neighborhood with a beautiful playground for children! Everything was clean, the beds comfortable and a great kitchen to cook in! Overall a wonderful experience!
