Great location and cozy feel of the home

We really enjoyed our stay at the Anderson Trail House. The house was clean and neat. The kitchen is well stocked. There was enough room and privacy for all of us. The beach is less than a 4-minute walk and easy to access. Mo's is a 5-6 minute walk, and the grocery store was easy to access, too. The only problem we had was with the door and the keyless entry. It never functioned properly, so we had to make sure we had the key with us. This was not a game-changer, nor does it change the rating we have of the house. I will most definitely return to this house in the future. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

This was our first time to rent the Anderson House, and overall we were pleased. We enjoyed the location, as we prefer to be in the Tolovana Inn area and especially like the south side. The floor plan of this rental house was great and fit the needs of our family very well. We loved the views from the upstairs family room, porch, and kitchen area especially. However, just a few upgrades would’ve made our stay much nicer. First, the downstairs beds were extremely old and uncomfortable. New comfortable mattresses are quite inexpensive and would have improved our stay greatly! There were also very few towels available, no beach towels, and no extra blankets. No beach were available for guest use; almost every rental house we have stayed in has provided these. Lastly, the reclining chair upstairs was on the brink of falling apart.Again, overall a great house, but just a small monetary investment would improve the value of this house tremendously.

My mom and I came down for the sandcastle weekend at Cannon Beach. The weather was not ideal…chilly and rainy…but the house was perfect for it! When we walked in it felt like home. The furniture is soft and inviting, the electric fireplace was toasty, and the house heated up really quickly. And when the sun finally came out and it got warm, we opened all the windows and got a great cross-breeze. It’s not a modern place, it feels more lived-family style. It would be very comfortable for two couples and a few kids, although there’s definitely room for more. Oh the shower pressure was great, even from the older fixtures in the downstairs bathroom. And if you have time for a relaxing bath the tubs are big and have jets. Walking to the beach took about 2 minutes; it’s very close! It would be a long walk into downtown Cannon Beach though, so we drove for that. Also there’s a nice, natural-foods grocery store two blocks away. I definitely recommend!

The house has everything you need to make meals at home and was perfect for our family vacation. The foosball table is great for down time at home and we used the grill and ate on the deck while listening to the ocean - it was lovely.

Two adults and two teenagers. The location was perfect! Just a few steps to the beach and the market. The home was cozy and comfortable and had all the amenities.

Our family enjoyed our time at the Anderson House. Had a great location and area was very relaxing. Plenty of room in the main floor for our teenagers and we had some privacy in the upstairs master. Only have 1 recommendation, I wish there were different softness of pillows available. If we do very come back I would definitely come me back to th Anderson House but will bring a softer pillow.

Fresh coat of paint, new flooring, update the bathrooms a bit and new caulking would make a huge difference. The house was indeed clean, just some issues with old caulking. The house is great for multiple guests. The management company is great. I would rent this house again as I might be a bit picky, but we did enjoy our stay.

It had a lot of perks. The location, amount beds/rooms, large dining area and ocean view. You could tell they tried to stock the kitchen with the essentials for all your baking and cooking needs ie. Pots, pans, dishes, knives, utensils, odds and ends. The house needs work though. The carpets were stained/very used, the walls were scuffed and dinged, water stains on the ceiling, and the downstairs had a musty smelled to it. It was just apparent the overall house needed some TLC.

Location is on a quiet street set back from the main hemlock street and only 1 block from the beach. Very cute grocery store and a lovely bakery within short walking distance. Main part of cannon beach a 25 minute walk. The house itself had a well stocked kitchen, comfy beds and a roomy living area. Could use new carpeting. Rental agency is great- very responsive and friendly.
