The main house retains its original furnishings as well as furnishings from other antebellum Natchez homes such as Longwood, the Towers and the Shields Town House.

Stayed Feb 14, 2026This property is beautiful. The room was clean and exactly what we wanted for the weekend. It was close enough to town, but still felt like we were in the country.

Stayed Nov 7, 2025Mrs. Marsha was a wonderful host! She greeted me as I pulled up, along with her precious co-hosts. (Caspian- a tripod Aussie, Bear- a shy puppy dog, Lilly- a friendly tabby and Oreo- a lovable giant of a cat) The room was just as pictured and absolutely stunning. The grounds felt welcoming and its charm is second to non. I, unfortunately, left a couple of my belongings and Mrs. Marsha so graciously shipped it back to me without hesitation. I can’t recommend this host enough! I will most definitely be back!

Stayed Oct 8, 2024Lansdowne is absolutely amazing! Marsha is the nicest host ever! I was originally only staying one night, but as soon as I drove in to this place, I knew I couldn't stay just one night. Its just beautiful! It's very private, quiet, and I felt very safe. The history of this place is so interesting!! The billard room was super cozy and had everything I could possibly need. All of the nicest restaurants are within 10 minutes driving distance. If you are an animal lover, the dogs and cats are an absolute blessing! I recommend this place to anyone planning on visiting Natchez. I'll be back for sure!
