Stayed Feb 11, 2026concerns regarding my recent stay. Upon arrival, the home was not cleaned to an acceptable standard. There were large bags of dirty linens in the closet, visible grime and buildup in multiple areas, and I had to clean portions of the home myself before feeling comfortable staying.When I brought these concerns to the host’s attention, the response was dismissive and defensive. Rather than addressing the cleanliness issues, the host repeatedly implied I was attempting to obtain a refund, which was not the case. I simply wanted the property to meet basic standards of cleanliness.Throughout the stay, I was provided inconsistent information, and I believe I was misled on multiple occasions regarding the condition of the property and prior cleaning.Most concerning, the host stated she would attempt to have me banned from VRBO for bringing these concerns forward. I found this threatening and inappropriate. I have documentation and photographs supporting the condition of the property and my communications.
