Stayed Jul 27, 2023This property is a basic 2bedroom house +a 1 bedroom trullo, described as a sophisticated luxurious property. The listing says that it can sleep 10, when in reality, it only sleeps 6, which made our stay very uncomfortable. I spent 10 days with my family of 10 people but due to the misinformation on the listing, I ended up having to rent a second place for us to all be accommodated. I was aware there were 3 bedrooms plus a queen sized pull out couch in the living room. However, the villa description and the pictures depict a spacious living room next to the kitchen, when in reality, the cheap couch sits in the middle of the kitchen/dining room. The master is a regularly sized bedroom + two extremely uncomfortable cot beds. No room to store clothes, only a small two door closet. No shelves, no drawers etc. The kitchen cupboards and drawers were overflowing with objects and no room to store groceries. The outdoor kitchen is not equipped at all, no fridge or proper storage space, so it could not be used. The one redeeming quality of the house was the outdoor space & garden, though the outdoor furniture was not clean. Ilaria, the co-host was of NO help addressing our issue. No hospitality skills whatsoever. This property would be better if it was listed as a simple country home with a nice & spacious garden that sleeps 6 people. If listed as so, it could please people with such expectations. Overall, it is upsold & gives a false sense of luxury.
