The position of Tennyson House is perfect as it is so close to Peasholm Park and the beach with plenty of great cafe/bars minutes walk away. The house itself was a great size for our group, plenty of very comfortable beds and bathroom/showers. We did feel that the kitchen could be better equipped as we were cooking each night. We did find that several pieces of equipment weren’t as clean as we would have liked/expected. That said that did not spoil our stay.

To celebrate my 70th Birthday we stayed for two nights. There was a mixed age range from 5 yrs old. The property is ample for a large group without being in each others way. There were 15 in our party and two dogs (property secure to let them out of the back door. Sufficient bathrooms and showers. Property well placed for Peasholm Park, the beach and The Hide Out (bistro) about 80 yards from property. Parking was not an issue as provided with parking permits for when needed. All in all a great place to stay.
