It was a mixed bag for us. The house was nice and there were alot of nice amenities. But there were some issues - The house was not professionally cleaned and sanitized, in my opinion. Of the 10 adults and 5 children who stayed here for the week, about half of us fell ill - from nausea and headaches to full blown vomiting for an entire day. We had to call to have the pool serviced - we were told there was no chlorine in the pool. So that may have been a source of all the illnesses. Some of the deck boards around the pool and again on the top floor outside the family room, were rotten and in need of replacement. The deck on the top floor had some very soft boards, which alarmed me to the point that I avoided that deck altogether.
Rented a home with 3 other families. The location to the beach was great and we enjoyed the area. However, we enountered several issues during our stay. 1. Upon arrival (we arrived an hour before our 4pm check-in), a representative arrived from Village Realty and told us he was there to do an overview of the house. I don't believe the house was cleaned properly or prepped for our arrival. When we started unpacking, we needed to call the cleaning crew to clean up the floors as there were crums throughout, including under the dining room table. How could that have been missed if the house was cleaned? 2. Another issue but related to cleanliness, 1/2 of our guests came down with a 24 hour sickness within 2-3 days on the trip. Again, lends to the fact that the house wasn't properly cleaned. 3. Visible mold/mildew in all showers - easy fix, but not done. 4. Needed to call pool service to add chlorine. Home could be great, but not properly cleaned or maintained. Will look elsewhere next summer.
This was a great house. There were some issues with plumbing before we arrived but the rental company was on top of it. The walk to the beach was about 5 mins and then you had to walk over a hill to get to actually beach. The pool was nice. Everything was well maintained.
We had great time during our stay. The house was well equipped and clean. It was nice to see legos and other pool toys for kids.
