Whether you`re bringing the family for a lakeside holiday or simply want to unwind close to town, Te Urunga Place is the ideal base to relax and recharge.
When making a booking request please include information on the age range of the guests intending to stay and your plans for while you are in Taupō.

We have a strict no large group or parties policy, disruption to the neighbours will not be tolerated. If we are notified of parties or illegal activity you will be evicted.

You will be required to complete a check in form prior to arrival (excluding identity verified, Airbnb accounts) which will include a copy of your ID and the details of all guests intending to stay at the property. Failure to complete this form will result in the booking being cancelled.

The guest named on the booking is responsible for the property for the duration of the stay and must take all reasonable care of the house. For breakages or damages be aware that you will be charged for the repair or replacement plus a 10% handling fee. It`s your responsibility to familiarise yourself with potential hazards or situations during the stay and take appropriate care or actions if needed.

All properties must be left reasonably clean and tidy, ensuring all furniture and appliances are returned to where they were. A general service clean is included, but if the property requires extra cleaning, you could be charged an additional $50.00 per hour, this includes BBQ’s, excess rubbish, soiled linen and odour removal.

All bookings are accepted on the basis that you have read, understand, and agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions and House Rules.

    As a family of 5 we had a wonderful stay here. Great house with a great location and only 5 minutes walk to the beach. Hope to visit again next year!

    We arrived friday night and when setting up both bedrooms found the main bedroom had meldew in the corner from the sliding door and curtains also mouldy. Due to the mold and dampness we could not sleep in the room so moved to the next door room. The other up stairs room had a fire alarm that kept going off so had to remove battery, same thing in the kitchen pantry. The beds that we could use were comfortable and the air con did keep us warm. I put new dish brush and scourers in the kitchen for the next ones. It was good location for us due to daughter in-law 50th around the corner.

    It was a great property as close to the lake and had everything we needed for 3 couples staying. A few things needed a bit of maintenance work done eg window not opening in bedroom, door latch coming off in main bedroom but all in all it was great

    A great location, lovely view, quiet street and easy stroll to lake and boat ramp. The property was well equipped but lacked repairs and maintenance with many things broken or in need of fixing and the cleaning was not up to scratch either.
