Tarenga House | Lake Access, Hot Tub, Great Location

House was very nice. Basement can get extremely cold so plan accordingly when assigning sleeping arrangements. The hot tub was just what we needed at the end of the day. The best part- a black bear walked through the yard.

The house was ok. There were I few things i would change. First the shower lining in the main level needs to be replaced. The basement needs updates; it was extremely cold and it didn’t smell great (humidity smell and/or pet smell even though it’s not a pet friendly property) the outside furniture by the fire pit were not cuzy/comfortable.

A stunning property with lots of activities for family fun! It was well kept and we would absolutely stay again!

We rented the cabin for an after Christmas family getaway. We enjoyed having three levels with bedrooms/bathrooms on each level. The kitchen was adequately equipt with pots/pans/dishes/mugs/etc. Little Sandys diner was very nearby and provided a great place to share a meal. The hot tub was fun for everyone to relax in after a nice hike at Swallow Falls.

The house was not close to any water access. It did not have any water view. There was not any information in the house binder with where to access the lake. When I called to get this information, I was told the community lake access was off Paradise Point Road. But that information was vague considering the road is long and in a couple different places. The wood floors on the main floor of the house were not clean. The right side stove burners were. It working. Remotes for the tvs were not all working and the master bedroom did not have a remote for the Roku. One other bedroom did not have a working tv. Information of where the corn hole bags and horse shoes were located was not given.

This was our first trip to Deep Creek. The area was beautiful. The house was clean, and close to great restaurants and lake activities. We rented a pontoon boat for one of our days and had a great time. We had 4 couples and the house worked out great. We are already looking at coming back again.

Very happy with our stay at this Rental property it was very clean they have plenty of outdoor space the location was awesome kitchen was fully equipped with all necessary cooking utensils A. short 20 minutes away from Walmart in the small town of Oakland or deep creek lake in the opposite direction field our joy of water sports

Our family stayed here for our daughter’s wedding. A great weekend all around!

Kids loved it, spacious, unique, beautiful area. Only issue was water pressure, which is needed to shower especially after hot tub. Would rent again though, had a great time!

For the most part part, we were very happy with this house. There were some minor maintenance issues, and we were sad that we were unable to get the gas fireplace to work, considering it was crazy cold that weekend. The Hot Tub worked great, but need some cleaning and attention. Other than those concerns, the house was great, fit our 2 families (totaling 13 guests) just fine, and provided plenty of room to spread. The balcony deck had some amazing views, and it was closely located with easy access to the Wisp resort. With a little attention to some minor maintenance concerns, this house is a great family getaway location.
