Tangerine Dreams in South Nags Head Ocean Front

Great place! Will be back again. Zac was a great host.

This cottage sitting right on the beach was perfect for our Nags Head getaway. An excellent location, tucked right behind the dunes and steps away from the ocean! The cottage was clean, fully furnished and kitchen stocked with necessities should you want to cook or eat at home rather than going out. The front porch with adirondack chairs was ideal for afternoon cocktails and morning coffee. We loved Tangerine Dreams and will be returning for sure. And the host was super responsive. A hidden gem in the OBX!!!

We had the absolute best week ever! Wonderful house that we fell in love with! Everything we needed for cooking meals with a well stocked kitchen. The access to the beach was perfect for an easy walk and hauling our fishing gear. Will definitely be back!

Property was as described

The house was a well-kept older home that had a small but friendly kitchen dinning living room with a large table that was great for playing cards! bedrooms were just right and the bathroom neat and clean!

Had a great time fishing was not good but oh well. Every thing was as described but there needs to be a flood light on the front of the house and the back of the house. There also needs to be little lights on the walk way at the porch and the outside shower. It is very dark walking in from car or the beach but we love the cottage.

We vacationed for a week in OBX in Tangerine Dreams. This Outer Banks beach house is an original bungalow home. It sits behind a dune, but has a walkway to access the beach, directly behind the home. The house itself has all new LVP flooring throughout, an updated bathroom, all stainless steel appliances in kitchen, to include a full size refrigerator. Every bedroom now has a flat screen TV hung from the wall, plus one in main living area. We were able to cook meals without any issue with all kitchenware that is provided. We enjoyed much family time playing games we brought at the kitchen table when it rained one afternoon, while looking out the 3 windows in that area of the weather outside. There is also an outdoor shower and toilet, which are also all new. And super convenient. The location is convenient to get to Manteo or Hatteras areas, and is a nice trip to get to northern areas of beach, for restaurants and shopping. Jenette's Pier is about 2ish miles up the road as is one of our faves Sam and Omies. Fishheads Restaurant on the Outer Banks pier is about a mile up the road, an easy walk on the paved exercise trails.The owner is super responsive. We discovered a GFI outlet in bathroom was not working and he came and fixed it promptly. We also obtained earlier access to the house, than the late afternoon check in time, once the cleaners came through and finished. That was so nice and convenient! We only have positives to share! This was a wonderful stay, a hidden gem!

This is my first VRBO. The process couldn't be more easy. Host gave me all the instructions right before the trip. The house is exactly as described. It was very clean. We had a great time and would definitely come back.

It was very pleasant..Very nice being close to Beach... I would suggest TV's in adult rooms (especially for rainy relaxed days and at nights) Upgrade of inside bathroom...Enjoyed stay!!!!!!!!

We had a hard time finding house from the road, because we were looking for tangerine! After we figured out the exact location we fell in love. We will definitely be back . Perfect little house, perfect escape! My son Niko cried when we had to leave! He didn't want to say good bye to the ocean!goobye

Great beach cottage with more than enough room for everyone! Literally just steps away from the beach. Southern end of Nags Head, so the beach wasn't crowded at all! Super close to tons of restaurants and shopping. Only critique being I miss the Tangerine exterior!! Lol. Hopefully the owners will paint it back at some point. Overall, we had a great stay and we will definitely be coming back!!
