It was a beautiful and well stocked for cooking a large thanksgiving meal. The only complaint is that the beds are very uncomfortable. I actually woke up often during the night because I hurt from being on such a hard bed and the pillows weren’t very good either.
Nice getaway with friends & family.
The Mattresses on all beds are very thin and old , you think as much money they charge you would be sleeping on thick comfortable mattresses , furniture very old and mismatch , Spider webs all down walls , corner of windows. ( THEY DON'T CLEAN THOROUGH ), the Wifi is low , the DVD don't work properly . Otherwise the Scenic is very BEAUTIFUL , we had fun on our outings . I won't stay here again
Thank you for providing a nice home for a great weekend
Close to other fun things. Clean inside. Had hoped the deck, windows and grill would have been cleaner. Kitchen and great room nice size.
House looked larger on website and it came with ants. Large black ants crawling in the kitchen on the counters and walls. We were supposed to have wifi - which they did not repair until Saturday evening. Maintenance and another repair guy hung out with us for 3 hrs. of our stay. Also, the cutting down of trees had been scheduled on Saturday ( our only totally free day) at the property. Talk about noise and being inconvenienced (they were there for 1/2 of the day). This took away from our peaceful, restful environment. The view was spectacular from the main floor. All the furniture was extremely worn, which made for an unacceptable relaxing experience. No one had a good nights sleep (mattresses were either extremely hard, as in brick; or extremely soft, as in cotton balls); and the sofa's and chairs in the lounging area's were lumpy and broken down. (padding felt as if it were missing; springs were poking). I would definitely change out the furniture to a high quality soft heavy leather in both lounging area's. The leather would be durable and hold up in moist climate. I would purchase better quality mattresses for the beds, the cheapest is not always the best, I understand that you want to make money, but really? People do write reviews. Also, check your calendar when scheduling work to be done and the arrival of guests. Seemed pretty invasive. Other than that, thank goodness for a great group of friends. We enjoyed one another's company and will definitely re-visit Deep Creek, just another home. I hope this helps someone.
