Talquin Lakeside Retreat 4BR/2Bath 1500sqft, 25 minutes to FSU

The home was excellent, and communication with the host was easy and reliable. The dock is great. It’s very big, with a sink, Kayaks, and multiple fishing pole holders if you want them. We fished for about an hour and a half or so on two different days and caught big catfish both times.The home itself was very clean and very comfy. It was cold when we went, and the heater worked well (along with huddling under some blankets). The neighborhood itself is nice and out of the way.Overall, it was a great stay, and we would definitely come back.

We loved it here. The beds were comfortable, the pillows were super soft, the dock was perfect, and the place was quiet and secluded. The hosts were very kind and accommodating. They took care of everything to make our stay more enjoyable. Everything was clean. Fishing wise, we caught well over a hundred fish.

My family and I spent Thanksgiving at Talquin Lakeside Retreat, and it was absolutely perfect. The house was cozy, comfortable, spotless, and had everything we needed and more. The views of the lake, the peaceful surroundings, and the beautiful scenery made our stay unforgettable.Bob and Sherry were wonderful hosts—so accommodating, kind, and helpful. Communication was excellent from start to finish.We enjoyed every minute of our stay and will definitely be returning often. Highly recommend this beautiful lakeside getaway.

Clean and nice

I traveled to the area for a ball game and took my son-in laws and family friends and it was perfect. From the communication from the host to the amenities of the house. Plenty of space and the wonderful host provided all we needed. The view of the lake was a beautiful site each day! I have stayed in many homes in my travels and this is up there, we highly recommended this location.

The house was amazing as well as the lake. We were able to do a little fishing, cooking on the grill and play games. We also did a little shopping at the mall.

We enjoyed our weekend stay in Tallahassee! Our 2 older boys live near FSU and it was only a 30 minute drive for them to come visit! We had a great time kayaking, hiking, and relaxing at the house! Our doodle loved the big window that overlooks the water!

This was our second time staying here and as always house was immaculate. Supplies were well stocked. No issues. Would recommend anyone thinking about renting -don’t! Do it!

It was all that we needed at this time. The lake provided peace and quiet.

Bob and Sherry were exceptional hosts. They were very informative and had their home equipped with all the essentials. Highly recommend staying with them if in the Tallahassee area.

There were two of us here fishing, and the house was perfect for us. Very clean, comfortable, fully stocked, and right on the lake. Keeping my boat at the covered dock was a major game changer. Even if you don’t have a dock, the view of lake was awesome. I highly recommend staying here!

Check-in was very easy, the house was spotless, major attention to detail....down to tissues in each bedroom. Plenty of kitchen supplies were available. We went for a jet ski trip, but weather was cooperating, but you can't predict the weather. The house was relaxing and friendly. We are planning a May trip and will definately stay here!!!
