Everything was great. Well equipped. Plenty of paper towels and toilet paper which is much appreciated. Great location for snow park for the grand kids. Our second visit and we will be back!

Great spot and host!

We have stayed in Tahoe Donner several times, but never had an experience with an owner quite like this one. Her handyman showed up with his dog while we were gone (enjoying time with our family on the river) and then she started to call me and leave me messages asking who the person with the latter was that was seen on her cameras and then telling me that she was going to charge us becuase we broke the rules by having a dog on the property!!! It was bizarre, rude, uncalled for, and will definitely pass on this house in the future.

Wonderful place

The home is very nice and very well stocked with all kitchen/cooking supplies, as well as paper products and bedding. There are just a couple of things that I feel like I want to share. One thing is that there are a lot of stairs - three actual levels and a substantial set of stairs required to enter the house from ground level. I don’t feel like that was very well explained in the property description. The second thing that was concerning is that while, there were a ton of amenities mentioned, it was not abundantly clear that none of the amenities were actually on the property site. They were about 3 or 4 miles from the property. Apparently the owners are members of a resort that allows them and their clients to have use of the amenities, for a fee. We had a rainy and thunderstormy weekend, making spending the day at the lake unreasonable so some of my family did go to the pool and enjoyed it. It would be nice if this property had, at least, a hot tub that could be enjoyed without having to leave and then have to share with people they don’t know. I would recommend this VRBO to friends but would make sure they were fully aware of the items I’ve mentioned. In retrospect, I think in a very subtle way, the amenities were mentioned in such a way that you could conclude that they were not on site. But at first glance, the property and amenities description did not make it very clear to us. As mentioned before, I would recommend this property with noted details.

If you can handle a lot of stairs, the property, location and cabin was excellent in every aspect.

It was nice stay, driveway was hard to drive to the garage because of the snow, should be cleaned before i got there but no problem we had very good time the house code should text to my phone will be easier than hunt for the email.

We stayed here with our family for a short ski weekend. The place was clean, updated, and modern. We had absolutely no complaints.

We had everything we needed. This home was stocked with extra blankets, pillows, towels and all the essentials. Great space made it easy to hang out with our friends. Check in and out was easy. I'd stay here again.

Fantastic house. Plenty of room, everything worked. Nice location. Lovely weekend. As we are all cooks we got a chuckle out of the tiny wooden spoon. Would definitely rent again

It's our second time staying here and it's always a pleasure. Lots of run for 2 families (maybe even 3 small families) across 3 levels. Greatly enjoyed it!

Great location. Beautiful cabin. Very well equipped kitchen. Comfy beds and enough room for everyone.

It was nice. Clean a had everything available. Garage door needs to be fixed but otherwise everything was great. Temperature is on 3 levels so hard to get comfortable but nonetheless it was great

We stayed at Joanne’s place with our kids and some cousins and aunts and uncles. It absolutely dumped snow but the house was cozy and had all the things we needed to dig out the driveway. The kids had so much fun playing in the backyard. The kitchen was equipped with everything! Spices, coffee maker and filters, loads of pots and pans, and plenty of dishes and glasses. No plastic or kid cups so if you’re worried about kids dropping and breaking things you may want to bring your own. Our kids did great though! There are also plenty of baby gates to block the stairs and fireplace for those who come with little roamers. Joanne was easy to communicate with and quick to help with any issue you may encounter. Beds were comfortable with lots of pillow options so if you’re particular like my husband, you should be able to find one that works for you. Overall great stay and would recommend it for families.

We were in town for a family wedding in Lake Tahoe. This cabin had everything we needed and then some! We had 3 generations and 8 people in total staying. It was plenty of room for everyone to visit and have their own time when needed. The area is gorgeous. Would love to come back!

Excellent home, location and communication!

This was perfect for us ,we were here in the evening and morning/sleep here. This worked for us .

We held our family reunion at the house. Plenty of room for adults and kiddos. There is a trail right behind the house for hiking and exploring. It’s about 15 minutes to town which is makes it tough for a quick trip to get coffee but other than that, it was perfect.

Joanne is very communicative and helpful. Cabin is on three levels and is very nice, clean and comfortable and in a great location. A couple of very minor bathroom fixes were needed but owner was quick to get handyman there. Kitchen has many nice features however not equipped with any spices or extras.. Overall a very nice accommodation.

Family and friends gathered for graduation. Had a bed for everyone! Great location next to Tahoe Donner rec area.
