T2P Pilar House, Vila Nova de Gaia

Thank you for the short stay in this flat, we enjoyed it a lot.

Great location just be aware it's on top of a hill . I love walking , it's all uphill. Great little restaurant below . The apartment very comfortable and super clean . The owners were there anytime u called . Excellent I would go back ??❤❤

Would definitely recommend this place. Check in was easy - we arrive early and we're quickly accommodated. There we local pastries and port for us on arrival. The place was clean and well equipped. Easy to get anywhere you want to go. Also just as easy to wonder down stairs to the local bar for some cheap beers and port - bar tender/owner is really nice and helped us find a place to print boarding passes. Hosts responded quickly to all questions and requests. Two thumbs up!

The flat was in part that is close enough to the Old Town and it was a very nice flat. Lovely little things to make you feel really welcome. Everything was clean and me missed nothing at all. We can recommend it and would book again. Best regards :-)

This was one of the best home share experiences I’ve ever had. The place was immaculate and very spacious. It can fit 3-4 people very comfortably. We were greeted with authentic Portuguese wine and pastries: port and torta de nata. Our host went above and beyond- our car was towed on the first evening and he tracked it down, drive us to the police station and patiently stayed with us to help us get it back. This processtook hours and would have been nearly impossible without his help. I cannot express how grateful we are and would stay here again in a heartbeat. While Vila Nova de Gaia is not in Porto, it is about a 10 minute walk away. There is a market and all amenities within walking distance as well. Highly, highly recommend.

This is a lovely, roomy, up-dated, and well-equipped apartment in the Vila Nova de Gaia section, across the river from Porto proper. We walked across the bridge to Porto, to wonderful viewing spots over the Douro River and Porto, as well as to a wine cellar in Gaia for an excellent exhibit on the making of port. There is a subway stop not far away. Carlos and Stephanie are very helpful, providing information and a welcome basket for us (including two individual-sized bottles of port). Both bedrooms are comfortable and the apartment is well-ventilated. We recommend this apartment for friends, a couple, or a family.

Lovely 2 bedroomed apartment in Porto. Not easy to get to by car and maybe more of an explanation of how you get round the one way system to the apartment would be good. Lovely welcome of Portuguese tarts and juice, were a lovely touch. Everything you need is in the apartment, which was lovely and clean. The only point I would have is that one bath sheet and one hand towel to last for the week is. It enough when you shower twice a day. In fairness we did not ask Stephanie or Carlos if we could have more towels, so they were not able to address. It is a bit of a hike down to Porto Centre, but great exercise for you. Would absolutely recommend this apartment and the owners when visiting Porto and would book again.
