Stayed Jul 4, 2024Great place to get away, nice and quiet. The hoyse had anything you might need. If you like the outdoors and sit ourside and enjoy the sunrise and sunsets, this is the place. Best part is that since there isn't internet the kids had to intertain themselves and had to interact with others. We loved the history of the place and its rustic look. We will definitely come back soon.

Stayed Jun 6, 2024Steinhouse Ranch is the lovely old Oestreich house near Castell. It is an original settlers home built out of local rock. Perfect location for our family during an annual family reunion. Steinhouse Ranch has plenty of beds for a large group. There are cattle around the house to enjoy. True country living.

Stayed Jun 11, 2021The house is very nice enjoyed the old ranch house atmosphere. The river shown in the pictures with the house were a little misleading necause that river crossing is not on the property, it was down the highway about a mile or two. The cabin that goes with it was very nice. Overall, the place was nice for a family get together, my grandchildren enjoyed the place. Although I was disapponted about the river not really being on the property, everything was good. The caretaker was very friendly and helpful and she has my 5 stars too.
