We are so glad to share our darling cottage near Yosemite National Park with you! The home is located just 20 minutes away from the south entrance of Yosemite, 8 minutes to the swimming beach at Bass Lake, and 2 minutes away from the town of Oakhurst with its restaurants, cafes, galleries and grocery stores.
The home is surrounded by massive granite boulders, giving you the true feeling of being in the Sierras out every window.

Stayed Nov 3, 2025Great location. Very quiet and remote. Easy check-in.The hot tub was great after walking Yosemite. Loved having access to a washer and dryer after being on the road for a week. It was nice to be close to town to grocery shop and have access to a full kitchen to cook meals. The only negative was the bed and pillows were hard and uncomfortable.

Stayed Feb 28, 2025There's so much to love about this property - great location, lovely hottub, very easy checkin, etc.However the bed in the bedroom we stayed in is like a slab of concrete with a 1/4 of memory foam on top. Literally the least comfortable bed I've ever encountered. It was so bad we cut our 3-night stay short after the first night and checked into a hotel instead.I'm baffled that none of the other reviews mention this obvious flaw in the property. If you're over the age of 25 and have any issues with bed comfort this is NOT the Vrbo for you.

Stayed Jan 27, 2024The cute cottage is in a great location within the town - close to really good Glow Cafe, Chinese restaurant, and Reiner’s ice cream and candy shop, and an hour and 15 minute drive to Yosemite Valley. It has a nice jacuzzi and large are of land to roam with dogs and take in the view

Stayed Nov 26, 2023Honestly, this has been one of the best stays we’ve had as a family. This house was perfect location wise, super private, cozy and most importantly clean. The town is also great, we’ve lived in different places due to my job, and Oakhurst is definitely how we love to live. All details from description are 100% accurate and more, the house honestly had more than we expected for it to have and that was a super plus. Michelle was very communicative since before our stay, and even the day of, she made sure we were good. I would for sure recommend this stay to anyone that’s looking to spend a couple of days in Yosemite. Thank you so much to the hosts for having us, it was great!

Stayed Feb 26, 2023We were so excited to stay here! Unfortunately the weather had other ideas and we could not safely make it to this getaway due to record snowfall amounts.
