Sweet cottage, Best Location, Close to Everything, River View

Cottage was absolutely charming and spotless clean. Further, in all our travel experiences, we’ve never encounter a more thoughtful host. Every need was anticipated, linens / towels were top quality and attentiveness to any requests prompt. Our nicest VRBO rental for sure. No need to look further if this cottage meets your needs.

Our stay at Live Oak Cottage was wonderful. The cottage had a delightful decor that was filled with comfort. We felt like it was our home. Barbara and Steve were also delightful, very communicative and available. They left no detail out from the very well stocked kitchen with every piece of equipment you would need as well as many spices. Beaufort and the surrounding area provides many beautiful parks and nature trails along with an adorable city offering an array of great restaurants and shopping, all very near by. We loved this cottage and the area. We plan to be back soon!

This cottage offered everything we could possibly of needed for our work adventure in Beautiful Beaufort. Barbara was very welcoming an accommodating for our stay. Would def recommend it and hope to stay down there again

This lovely cottage was just as described/pictured, spotless and perfectly comfortable. The kitchen might be the best-equipped of any we've stayed in - it seems Barbara has thought of everything. The location was perfect, close to everything and yet quiet, and the info binder provided was very helpful. We had a wonderful stay here, loved Beaufort, and look forward to returning!

Beautiful property conveniently located to everything we wanted to see. Downtown, the Veterans Cemetery and the other islands.

We are return guests. This is the best place for us to be. We come to do our thinking time, walk and dine out mostly for dinner. Communication with the host is perfect. Actually, everything is perfect. Last time, I walked across the bridge and along the river. A bit too chilly for that this time.

Fantastic cottage. Very clean and comfortable. Its so quiet at night. Host has a binder with instructions for your stay, maps and info on local area and menus from recommend local restaurants. Every detail is covered. The cottage is charming and meticulously maintained. The kitchen has everything you could want or need. The location is perfect for access to Beaufort, Paris Island, Hunting Island and Port Royal. We didnt want to leave.

The cottage was spotless, had everything we could possibly need and was situated ideally for exploring and near so many exciting sites we will have to go back to see more! The hosts were friendly and very helpful telling us about nearby wetlands and rookerys, historical buildings, beaches and so much more

My husband and I loved our stay. This cottage is perfect for two and so warm and cozy. Great location to downtown Beaufort and Hunting Island State Park. Oh and Barbara has an excellent notebook filled with wonderful places to eat in the area. We hope to visit Beaufort again and hope this cottage will be available at that time.

This is a beautiful property and a beautiful cottage. Cozy, comfortable and quiet. Perfect for a couple and has everything you could possibly want or need. Cleanliness and attention to detail were noticed as soon as you open the front door. The central location is great and our host Barb along with Steve are exceptional when it comes to communication. Being it was our first visit to Beaufort we appreciated all the great recommendations, especially restaurants, that Barb provided. The magnificent oak tree right in the front yard is a view we will definitely keep thinking about. Already talking about our return visit here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and this beautiful home! Well furnished kitchen with utensils, spices, oil and ziploc bags. Comfortable bed/pillows. We liked the location. Would definitely stay again if ever in the area again.

We had an excellent stay at the cottage on Lady’s Island. It was very clean and the perfect size for two people. Location was central so easy to get anywhere. Almost exactly a one mile walk to downtown and great scenery walking over the bridge. Highly recommend staying at this property.

WOW. This cottage is beautiful! Interior decorating is spot on and Barbara has taken the time to make sure everything you could possibly need is there. Unlimited hot water in the huge shower with a huge rain head, you will never want to leave. Location is perfect. Easily accessible to everything . Look no further, you have found where you should be.

This is our second time staying here. The house is close to downtown Beaufort, just a walk over the Bridge, Crystal Lake and other walking trails. We love the house, extremely comfortable for a couple. We will be back again,

This place is beautiful! It's been decorated in such a way that it feels like a home... not a rental. It had EVERYTHING I needed and items that I didn't use! There are beach chairs, beach bag, beach towels, 2 white robes, anything you might need in the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. This is the BEST rental I've ever stayed at. I could write thousands of words and yet never say enough good things. This is like HOME, not a rental

While we are not frequent VRBO users we have had a variety of stays over the years, this is my new gold standard. Everything from the location, design of the cottage, quality of amenities and professionalism of the hosts was spot on.
