Sweeping Gulf Views in Seagrove Beach! Private Pool, Game Room & Bikes

Host was very responsive. The house was perfect for our multi-family trip!

House and pool were wonderful minor issues like master shower held water for hours and didn’t drain on the last day but normally would drain within a couple hours. The third floor king bedroom not the master had sand inside the bedsheets, as if the sheet had not been changed prior to us coming. There was also no trashcan in the master bath. Overall, we did have a wonderful time and it’s a great location and convenience to the beach. The children absolutely flipped over the pool.

There was so much room in this house with separate bathrooms for each bedroom. The pool stayed cool which seems rare in the Florida heat. The property manager was great to reply to messages. There are not a lot of bath towels in the home so be ready to do laundry or use dirty towels. We also saw roaches (2 separate occasions)

The location was wonderful, and the size of the house was great for our family. In addition the view of the beach and ocean was a positive. The grandkids loved swimming in the pool.Our family made the best out of questionable circumstances. The Spa did not work at all. The kitchen had roaches that came out when we were preparing our meals. I reported these issues to Alex, the property manager. Due to allergies with some of our grandchildren, I requested an exterminator not come while we were there. One of the showers in the Carriage house left a pool of water on the floor, one of the TV’s would not work and some black mold was visible in another shower( my daughter cleaned it). The beach toy garage was unclean and some of the items, (umbrella, wagon, beach toys) were broken and unusable. I swept out the garage before we left. The paddle boards were great, but needed cleaning before use. Alex, the property manager was very responsive and sent a team member to repair a door alarm leading to the pool and to address the shower leaking. The team member was very nice, but his effort did not fix the problem of water leaking onto the floor. My wife and I have used Vrbo for several years. This is our first experience with Modern Beach.

It was great and large enough for our whole family. We have booked it again for next year. They do need to supply spoons and ceramic bowls, and name sure the propane tanks are full though.

Absolutely a great trip. House is in a perfect location.

I would not book this home again. The house was dirty and dated. There was a sewer smell in the kitchen that got progressively worse over the week. The Wi-Fi was horrible, it didn’t hit half of the property. We couldn’t stream anything consistently on any tv in the home or from iPads. There is ZERO cell service for Verizon on property, several in our party had Verizon and they couldn't send a text message. AT&T did have service here but the Wi-Fi was needed and was basically non-functional. This property is horribly overpriced. We will never stay here again and suggest others look elsewhere. The beach access was close but the beach was very crowded every day.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: La Luna really has a lot going for it.Our party consisted of two families for a total of ten guests none of which were little kids. The main house and adjacent carriage house provided plenty of space for our group. None of the twin bunks were needed. The adjoining den and kitchen were very spacious with lots of seating, a nice big TV and a great view of the beach. The location and view of the beach from the second and third floors (including den, kitchen, bedrooms and balconies) were amazing. The beach access was only a short walk from the house which was super convenient. While lots of other people were being dropped off at the beach access (no parking), we could walk to it in less than five minutes.The beds were comfortable and the furniture was top notch. The kitchen was nice and well stocked. The bathrooms were nice. The downstairs game room was fun. The game room must be brand new as the paint smelled fresh. The garage included several useful items (wagons, toys, chairs, umbrella). Four bikes were included.The house included a beautiful pool and spa which were connected, and the spa overflowed into the pool.Overall we loved the house, the view and the location. We would gladly stay there again. The only negatives were maintenance related and not serious. The bikes needed some maintenance (flat tires, loose seat and loose handle bars that came off during a ride). When we arrived at the property, the pool and spa were dirty from a recent storm (understandable). The spa heat was off. There was no control panel near the spa to turn on the jets. After a few days of talking to the property manager (Donna was great btw!), we figured out how to turn on the spa heat which also heated up the pool as they are connected. Unfortunately the pump timer (and heat) turned off in the early evening when most people would want to use the spa. According to the pool guy, the spa jets would not function due to equipment malfunction.
