Surfer`s Nest is a 2 floor, 2 bedroom townhouse featuring inlet views with direct access. A full kitchen, soaker tub, water view - Surfer`s Nest is the spot in Ucluelet to explore and rest. 2 bedrooms and a queen sofa bed provides space for 6 people total. Please be aware, this is a townhome, so it does share walls with the adjoining property.

The deck offers lovely inlet views and is equipped with a BBQ and lounge chairs. Minutes away from Little Beach, Amphitrite Point Lighthouse and the Wild Pacific Trail, this is an ideal retreat for your West Coast adventures! Surfers Nest is overlooking the inlet and there is direct beach access but it`s not a sandy beach; high tide and low tide dictate the water levels

Come enjoy the West Coast lifestyle and immerse yourself in stunning scenery when you book this luxurious 2-bedroom waterfront townhouse escape! Set on Spring Cove in Ucluelet, it offers views of the inlet and surrounding rainforest and provides direct access to beautiful beaches, close to the Wild Pacific Trail and a host of outdoor activities.

Inside this two level townhome, you`ll find a fully-furnished living area with a queen pull out couch, two bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms and a spacious deck complete with outdoor dining and BBQ - perfect for entertaining guests or just taking in the views. Relax in front of the cozy propane fireplace or curl up with a book. To note because this is a townhouse, there are shared walls so we ask that guests respect quiet times and hope the others will in turn. Pet friendly!

EV CHARGING
Bringing your electric vehicle to the coast

While the townhouse complex does not have a dedicated EV charging station, there are standard outdoor plugs (3-prong, 15 amp) located near the front door of the units that can be used for a slow/trickle charge. Perfect for topping up while you settle in and enjoy the salty air.

If you’re looking for faster charging options, Ucluelet has several convenient public stations nearby. A popular choice is the Tesla Supercharger bank at the Ucluelet Co-op Food Store. Additional charging stations can also be found at the Ucluelet Community Centre, the Visitor Centre, and Black Rock.

ACCESS
Guests can access all spaces in the entire home minus the locked storage closet.

The house is managed locally by Blue Crush Concierge. You can contact the team during business hours of 9-5pm.

LOCATION
The townhouse is located in Ucluelet, off a quiet side street, steps from the Wild Pacific Trail and minutes to downtown.

From the house to:
Downtown Ucluelet: 3 min drive / 1.6km
Wild Pacific Trail Light House Loop: 3 min drive / 2km
Pacific Rim National Park: 20 min drive / 20km
Tofino: 30 min drive / 30 km

TRANSPORTATION
To get to Tofino from the mainland, you need to take a ferry to Nanaimo (closest) or Victoria. From there, it`s a scenic drive. Anywhere from 3 (Nanaimo) to 5 hours (Victoria). You can also fly into the airport with Pacific Coastal Airlines (the flight is stunning and so quick!) or seasonally, take a float plane from the Vancouver harbour downtown to Tofino harbour downtown.

There is a taxi service, local public bus or embrace walking or biking in town to get around. Coastal Connection is the local ride hailing app (like Uber). E bikes are very popular as there is a designated path from Ucluelet all the way to Tofino and it`s mostly flat.
There is a designated pedestrian path we call the MUP (multi use path) which is safe and has two lanes for walkers, bikers, joggers, strollers - you name it!. We encourage you to use it; it`s one of the things that makes Tofino unique. The free Shuttle bus runs during the summer months from town to the info centre. There is a city transit service that runs from Tofino to Ucluelet with limited service. There are a couple bike rentals (pedal bike and e-bike). There is also a local rideshare app called Coastal Rides, our version of Uber (download their app). Tofino Taxi is another option (though only one driver/car). For larger groups, there is Tiki Bus + Pacific Rim Navigators that needs to be pre arranged. There is a Budget Rental car service at the Tofino Airport (also needs to be pre-arranged).

PETIQUETTE:
Pet-friendly (1 dog max). Please declare at time of booking. Owner is open to 2 dogs potentially; please ask. Dog towels, a small bed, and bowls provided. This is a comfortable spot. Cleanliness was good. As stated you can expect to hear your neighbour but wasn’t too bad. Erika checked in with us after arriving and asked if there any problems. This was much appreciated, a nice touch- thank you! A few repairs need to be attended to. The faucet/tap in the kitchen only has one setting- a strong spray, instead of spray and a steady stream of water. The drain in the lower bathroom sink needs to be cleaned out, does not drain well. Thank you!

Overall the stay was great, despite some maintenance issues that occurred during the stay! The space worked well for 4 adults and 1 infant. The location was convenient and we took advantage of walking to the lighthouse from the place. Would book again when we visit Ukee!

The property was lovely. The rooms were bright and clean and overall quiet. We had easy access to great walks in the woods and by the ocean. The property managers were very responsive to queries. I would recommend for others to stay.

Had a nice stay. The unit was clean, well appointed, and in a quiet setting. Short drive to town and we walked to a section of the Pacific Rim trail. Would definitely stay again!

We chose to show our Swedish guest some of best western Canadian sites and Ucluelet was on our list, even if it meant driving from Alberta! The location, community and accommodation did not disappoint. Our accommodation was very comfortable and well equipped for cooking. The deck is a peaceful retreat. Our only piece of advice is to be prepared for staircase access to the main living areas. The front entrance allows access to a bedroom/ensuite but the remaining living area, bedroom and 2nd bathroom are downstairs, if mobility is an issue.
