The property was very clean and had what we needed. The hosts were very nice. We enjoyed visiting with them. We appreciate that our dog was welcome, and we did our part cleaning up after him.

This is our third time to stay in this home. The host and hostess are amazing. Very accommodating. The place is always clean wonderful and inviting. Every time we go. The patio is awesome the pier and dock the fishing the views are amazing. We truly love this place. We have booked our 2026 date in May already and working on our October date.

This getaway was perfect in every aspect. The place had everything we need. We were able to relax and have entertainment without leaving the house. My husband bought his boat. The kids and myself used the kayaks on the property and the outside patio created an environment that left us NOT wanting to leave! We will absolutely be back!

The property is absolutely gorgeous! The house was so comfortable and the owners have really thought of everything. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked. I loved the welcome basket as well as the stocked medicine cabinet.

Such a beautiful place with a beautiful view. It was exactly what we needed for a perfect getaway. Boat launch was usable even with the water being very low and it was very nice having a boat lift to use in the event of windy weather. We definitely recommend this place!

This place was amazing. It was very clean. They even thought about ants in the yard and it was great for my grandson to walk around. The view was spectacular. Having your own boat launch was also a plus I would definitely recommend this and we will be back.

We loved everything about this place! We spent most of our time swimming off the floating dock and fishing off the pier. The only thing con is that there is no ice maker outside as described. We would love to come stay again!

This place is perfect and very peaceful! It is a beautiful home with an amazing view! It has everything you need for a trip to the lake! The kids enjoyed swimming off the floating dock onto our water pad, fishing in the kayaks and off the dock. We were able to bring our little pet rabbit with us. Tim and Valerie were awesome host! We will definitely be back!

Very nice home on the lake with private boat access. A lot of attention to detail with the home construction and guest amenities.

We had a fabulous time with family!!!!! we swam off the awesome floating deck, we watched the sunrise and sunset from the lake facing outdoor seating area, we lit the fire and did s’mores each night, we rode the children on tubes and knee boards and just had loads of fun. We will be back.

This Lake House is perfect for any stay on Toledo Bend. This was our 3rd year to book it for our annual guided fishing trip .

Four longtime friends. We had a very relaxing fun time at your beautiful Negreet Treat. We will definitely be coming back. From the beautiful views to the beautifully decorated cabins to the huge back porch with the comfy lounging furniture. And those Eagles all around were awesome!

This is our fourth time staying at this property. Tim and Valerie provide an excellent home to relax and enjoy time on the lake with family. The fishing is always spot on and the house has always been clean and comfortable.

Perfect size for 3-4 adults and a few kids. Everything works perfectly and as advertised. Literally the only negative we found, and it was a stretch, is a gravel road to property, and it’s in good shape. We’ll be staying again for sure.

The property met the description provided online. The property was super clean, updated and had every amenity you could think of. Great location in Negreet Creek. Everything from beds to couches to patio furniture was comfortable. The house was clean and cozy. The neighborhood was quiet. The view from the patio was perfect for the morning cup of coffee. Caught lots of blue cat and perch from the dock. Caught lots of chunky bass within a half mile of the property on the lake. This was the best birthday weekend trip we’ve had in a long time and will definitely book again.

The house was easy to find, easy checkin, clean & much bigger than it looks from the outside. The patio was wonderful it had everything needed to cook outside & comfortable patio furniture to enjoy the awesome views. We will definitely rent again.

We are from the area and wanted a nice cabin to getaway for the weekend, this was perfect. We caught catfish around the clock. The perch weren’t biting just yet but we’re hoping to stay again soon. Cabin is directlyAcross from alligator hole.

Clean, quiet and comfortable. Tim and Valerie’s cabin is truly the nicest property on the lake. We have stayed here multiple times and it is always perfect! Our family looks forward to many more visits year after year.

We are genuinely impressed with your home. As owners of over 20 rentals ourselves we pride our properties on maintenance upkeep and cleanliness and you guys get an A+++ in our book. Great neighborhood and for those of us over 60 it’s the best in access out to dock and anywhere on grounds. You have done an excellent job in providing outdoor covered dining cooking and relaxing area. The quality of the property speaks for itself. Inside and out. Thank you for having us. The place was wonderful with the exception of the back porch that needed to be blown off and the cobwebs removed from the furniture. The only complaint we had! Enjoyed our stay greatly!

We thoroughly enjoyed the Negreet Retreat. Hosts have great attention to detail down to the snack bag and review book. Very clean, lawn manicured, great rustic interior design. Hosts responded quickly to any inquiries. Wonderful view of lake, sunrise and sunsets as the back of house faces somewhat south. We'll definitely stay again.

Loved this place! Beautiful view with great patio and deck. Our whole group was impressed with everything about it. Very comfortable for our group of 8. Felt very safe for our young kids which is a huge plus!

This weekend was everything we wanted it to be. We celebrated our 44th wedding anniversary. It was nice having some of our family with us. Sitting out on the patio looking across the lake in the morning with a nice breeze was heavenly. Fishing out on the pier laughing with family was even better. We night fished with a cool breeze and caught lots of fish. But released them all. It was was an awesome fun filled weekend and we loved every minute. Thanks for the awesome weekend.

We had a great time. Plenty of space for us and 4 kids. When we weren’t on the boat they loved swimming around the dock, and we could watch them from the back porch.

This is our second stay here. Loved it so much the first time. Second time did not disappoint. Perfect layout. Patio is huge. Great for lazy afternoons listening to birds, reading and relaxing. Pier is nice. Had fun fishing off the pier and kayaking. Kitchen appliances are top notch. We will be back again and again.
