Sunshine Cottage In Norfolk

AVOID. Total scam. Furniture is broken down and shoddy. Dirt and dust all over. Jacuzzi was filthy. Owner invented issues...claiming we stole or broke items that were not there, just to suck money. No inventory list was given before and she made up items that were never there to LIE and say we took them...anything from imaginary speakers to chairs to soap dispensers. She offered to buy our Christmas tree so we left it, but kept it and never paid. Total parasite. STAY AWAY!

This is a very cute cottage like home that’s in a wonderful area in Norfork. Right near a small crack, bike path, and grocery store. All the amenities were in the house and the AC ran well.

This property is adorable and has a great layout for family gatherings. It is well-equipped and very clean as well as is located across the street from one of the entries for river rafting which was fun and convenient for our family. The owner was very responsive and helpful during our stay when we had questions. The only issue we ran into was it was advertised as a 2 bathroom home, however it truly only has 1.25 bathrooms which we still would have stayed but it made it a challenge with 10 of us staying there to only have one true bathroom. Also it would have been nice to have a complimentary soap/bathgel for the shower as we did not bring our own. Overall though, I would highly recommend this property and stay there again, we would just bring a few extra toiletries the next time, which isn't a huge deal.

We were looking for a place that we could stay with our adult children and their spouses and a grandchild. This property was exactly what we needed for our stay.

House was fine except the central did not work and the owner was called, and she stated it was fixed but the house would be 80 plus when we tried to go to bed so did not get a good night sleep all three nights we stayed!!!!

I’m a HS golf coach. We stayed here for the state golf tournament. It was a great location, clean and fit our group perfectly.

The areas in this home give you lots of room to gather together, or spread out and have your own space, or have work meetings on your computer. The kitchen and bathrooms needed a few more items. With having the maximum number of family members 10/11, staying for the weekend, we had lots of coffee drinkers, and with two pod coffee makers, one upstairs and one downstairs, there were only 4 coffee cups. We had to keep washing them, for the next person. Also there was No Body Wash or Bars of Soap, for the shower, or napkins. We went out and bought these items as well as extra toilet paper, because we thought we would run out. These are just some suggestions that would help make the stay at this cottage even better.

Cleanest VRBO I have ever stayed in! Plenty of space.
