Enjoy being steps away from the beach and centrally located in Forest Beach while staying at 5 Egret! This gorgeous 6 bedroom home has undergone renovations and upgrades in the winter of 2022, including new furnishings, as well as interior and exterior painting.

The main living areas of the home are located on the first floor with an open living area, dining area, and kitchen all overlooking the pool. The fully equipped kitchen features a breakfast bar adjacent to the dining area allowing everyone to dine together. A small wet bar is located off of the main living area. Two of the six bedrooms are also located on the first floor. The primary bedroom is located to the left of the kitchen and has a king bed, a large walk-in closet, and access to a private balcony overlooking the pool. The private primary bath has double vanities, a soaking tub, and a walk-in shower. The second bedroom has two queen beds, an attached bath with single vanity, tub/shower combination, and laundry closet with washer and dryer.

The second floor opens to a loft area that is open to the living areas below with a small wet bar and overlooks the pool. The remaining four bedrooms are all located on the second floor. The first bedroom has a queen bed and a private bath with a tub/shower combination. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a private bath with a walk-in shower. The third bedroom is a secondary suite with a king bed, an attached bath with dual vanities, a soaking tub, and a large walk-in shower. The sixth bedroom is on the opposite side of the open loft with two queen beds and a private bath with a walk-in shower.

The outdoor living space features a pool/spa combination. The pool and spa can be heated for an additional cost. The spa can be heated independently as well! There is space for lounging around the pool, grilling and enjoying the dining poolside. The large garage offers parking for 2 - 3 cars with additional parking in the driveway. Street parking is prohibited in the Forest Beach Community. 5 Egret offers elevator access for guests that may require the use of an elevator. Advanced 14-day notice and signing an elevator waiver will be required prior to use.

Forest Beach is situated between Shipyard and Sea Pines resorts along the Atlantic coastline with miles of bike paths to enjoy. Coligny Plaza is just a quick bike ride away where guests and visitors can find hundreds of shops, boutiques, and restaurants.

Check-in instructions will be sent via email at least 10 days prior to check-in once the Rental Agreement is signed. If your stay is within 9 days, or lesser, from the time of booking, the instructions will be sent via email as soon as the Rental Agreement is signed.

    The house was a short walk to a quiet part of the beach and to Coligney Circle. Newly updated TVs and whole house WIFI. Great space for our family and loved being able to bring our dogs who are part of the family.

    Overall, the house was great. Great size and location, allowed us to be at the beach in less than 5 minutes. The property could use some general maintenance that would help with the BROKEN HOT TUB, BROKEN SURROUND SOUND, and UNSEALED POOL DECK. The kitchen was nice and very accommodating to a large group, it was nice that every bedroom had a private bathroom with shower/tub. The second floor master ceiling fan was broken upon arrival, but my sister said the room was overall pretty cold anyway. PLEASE UPDATE THE TV’S. Thank you for the easy check in process and checking up to see if we needed anything during our stay on Hilton Head Island.

    We liked the house, and loved the proximity to the beach, restaurants and shopping. There was some deferred maintenance that should be addressed at the house. And, it was a disappointment to learn that neither the pool nor hot tub were not able to be heated. The location can't be beat!

    Close enough to walk to the beach and/or Coligny. On a nice quiet street. House had a few disappointing features: mold on the waffled ceiling in the living room (probably hard to limit with the humidity and home layout), the racks in the dishwasher were all broken which made using the appliance very difficult, and *chief complaint* during the middle of the stay the home’s water was shut off by the utility company for the owners’ nonpayment. We had 11 people go without running water from 9 AM until about 2:30 PM when service was restored. Not the management company’s fault, but still worth mentioning IMO.

    Excellent house size and location. However no HD TV’s which led to poor picture quality and inability to stream. Cleanliness was an issue as dead bugs in the corners and under furniture. Pool deck has mold and needs to be power washed. Various light fixture bulbs burned out. Pictures on the website make it look great however in reality very dated.

    The house and pool area are gorgeous! The location is great. A very quiet neighborhood and about a 5 minute walk to the beach and shops. The kitchen was nicely stocked with essential cooking equipment and the bathrooms came with toiletries. I spoke to property mgmt a couple of times and they were responsive and polite. The only notes we had was the listing says it sleeps 20 and despite having less than 20, we had trouble with the room arrangements. For instance, only two of the bedrooms have adult beds (one king and one queen) but thankfully both of the couches are pull out couches which I don't believe was noted in the description or pictures. We made it work but I recommend your early risers or heaviest sleepers take the pull out couches in the common areas. We would definitely consider staying at this property again.

    The house was perfect for our family of 19. We loved the location. Close to the beach. The bicycle paths allowed us to Leave the cars and go everywhere on bike.

    This roomy property is located on a street lightly traveled yet has a straight path to the beach (about 5 minutes). We prepared a large meal twice each day using the kitchen ware provided and food is available at a Piggly Wiggly within walking distance. Fridge space at a premium for large families. The separate ice maker at the wet bar is a nice touch. The internet speed is woefully inadequate for today's connected families. In reality the unheated hot tub was an extension of the pool and there is limited provision to hang up suits and towels. That being said, this property is an excellent value and we would be happy to reserve it on a fourth visit to Hilton Head.
