Sunset Ranch Views Views Views with Private Indoor Pickelball Court

We rented this property for a group of ten people. Everything from the communication, check in, the amenities, location, etc, was top notch. Our group had a great time during our stay (dogs included!) and we were incredibly satisfied with everything about this place. 10/10

This property blew us away! From the view of the hills from the huge back deck, beautiful sunsets from front, pickleball and pool games steps away, relaxing sits in the sauna, and the large amounts of seating to accommodate, this resort does not disappoint. I call it a resort since it has just about everything we’d expect from one. The only thing we wish it had was a hot tub. The space around the property offers all the privacy you’d need and we never once heard a neighbor. We highly recommend Sunset Ranch!

Everything about this place was top notch from the communication with the host to the level of cleanliness to the multiple different activities and accommodations at the home. If you have an opportunity to visit Flagstaff for any reason and in any season, this is the place to stay. There was more than enough room for a much bigger group, but we enjoyed every minute and are so grateful for the flexibility of the host as we threw together a last-minute trip to go skiing. If we ever visit Flagstaff again, I can’t imagine staying anywhere else.

This house is hands down one of the best vacation rentals we have ever stayed at. The house is clean, lots of space, and so much to offer. The two garages will entertain adults and kids all day. The land around the home is a breath taking and open to explore/hike. The bedrooms were stocked with towels, comfortable beds, and plenty of linens/blankets. The location is quiet and isolated. And the amount of sitting space and areas to entertain is incredible.

Our family loved our stay at Sunset Ranch! The house is lovely and clean, with an open living space and beautiful views. The kitchen is well-equipped and we appreciated the pantry space for the food we brought. The bedrooms are comfortable, and we loved using the sauna!The outdoor spaces were amazing--the huge deck with firepit, bbq and screen room with heater were all enjoyed. We took advantage of the hiking trail behind the property as well.The two out buildings were added fun! Pool, darts, pickleball and ping pong kept us busy. We were hoping for snow, but these amenities made up for the lack of snow to play in. If there had been snow, I imagine the hills behind would have been great for sledding. We can't say enough about our wonderful host, John. He was very welcoming and responded lightning fast to any inquiries we had. He is by far the best host we've had over many years of vacation rentals. Thank you, John! Can't wait til next time!!

Loved all the amenities available for entertainment

Fantastic cabin!! Clean, beautiful, open wilderness behind for hiking and playing. Recreation building was fantastic, a lot of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. Would rent this again!!

We had a great time in flagstaff. The house was awesome, all the kids enjoyed the amenities while the adults enjoyed spending as much time as possible on the incredible deck. We had an issue with the hot water going out, but the owner was very responsive and sent someone out to fix it the same day. We hope to go back soon!

Great property. Very peaceful with an expansive deck overlooking great views. Convenient to town but feels rural. Plenty of activities. Perfect for a fun, quiet getaway.

Well suited for my hfamily including children. The available racketball court, pool table, basketball, table tennis were all a plus and kept my 5 grandchildren happy and busy. The large deck was perfect for morning coffee and dining. The view was wonderful. We saw deer running and playing in the late afternoon. It was close to shopping, restaurants and National sites visited, Walnut Canyon and Sunset crater among others. The double washer and dryer was a bonus for my large group.

We were all very impressed by the rooms, accomodations, and ease of the check in/out process. My whole family made memories that will last a lifetime. The rec room and the landscape were the selling point for us. We spent countless hours enjoying games and the outdoors.

We rented the house for family to all stay together for graduation from NAU! The house is amazing, on the quieter side of town and the back porch was our favorite spot! It had so much comfortable furniture, with an amazing view. We all enjoyed our stay!

We chose this location because it looked like it could accomodate our large family of 18, which it did with no problem. Spent the 1st day taking advantage of the amenities on the property. Pickleball was a big hit as well as the pool and ping pong tables. Nice drives to Sedona and Grand Canyon from here. John was very accomodating to any questions.

This has been my favorite vacation ever. We had family to share this amazing property and home…it was absolutely perfect. The views were wonderful, the center fireplace a godsend (it was cold!), beds were comfortable, and everyone loved the amenities. We used it all! The pickleball court, basketball hoop, ping pong, pool table and darts kept our group busy. We even had snow for the kids to play in for the first time ever.This was our home base for seeing the Grand Canyon and Antelope Canyon. My daughter even received a proposal of marriage on this trip!The owner/manager always responded promptly. I would recommend this property to everyone.

Fantastic location and house for our visit to Arizona. We loved the Happy Hour garage and pickleball court, and an easy drive for all of our day trips.

This is one of the best properties we have stayed at! Everything about it was great - the house was very clean when we arrived, kitchen is well stocked, plenty of room for everyone, lots of activities for kids and adults, and great location. Everyone enjoyed this cabin and the wonderful views. The check in and check out process was very simple and John (host) was very accommodating. We spent a lot of time playing games inside, hanging out on the deck and hiking the beautiful trails just outside the cabin. The kids had a blast playing pool, pickleball and basketball.I would definitely recommend this cabin to other large groups. It was perfect!

This place has it all! Spacious and family friendly we had a blast. The views are great and relaxing on the giant porch was perfect. The game rooms were awesome. There is so much to do we can't wait to come back.

Great place, kids loved the indoor court, amazing views

Our group consisted of family ranging from age 8 to 70 and everyone had a great time! The kids spent most of their time in the game rooms (they especially loved the pickleball court!) and we all enjoyed the peaceful setting and enjoying the 360 degree views. The home is absolutely gorgeous and was so well appointed and accommodated our large group comfortably. The grocery store is a quick 10 minute drive and visiting downtown Flagstaff was a breeze. Communication with the host was quick and friendly. We didn't have any issues during our stay, but I'm sure John would have been very responsive if we did.Overall, this was a 10/10 stay and one of our favorite vacations ever!

The property was awesome!!!! There was something there for all ages and all ages in our group enjoyed all the outdoor space, rec room and pool table room! The kitchen was spacious and stocked very well! It had everything we needed !!! The beds were very comfortable, water was hot and we thoroughly enjoyed the gas fireplace that could be seen from every angle in the living/kitchen areas. The views were beautiful. The host’s communication was excellent. Thank you for the Christmas tree! It was an excellent touch to our family Christmas gathering. We did the Polar Express while there. The commute was easy! This property will NOT disappoint. Highly recommend!!!

Great cabin!

Excellent stay. Comfortable and cozy house in a rural/ranch area right outside of Flagstaff. Gorgeous property and views. Away from any congestion with ranches and horse properties all around. Large rec rooms kept our teen/pre-teen boys busy in the evenings. Cooked our meals in spacious stocked kitchen. Owner extremely responsive to guests. We visited the South Rim GCNP, Sunset Crater/Wuptaki, Monument Valley, Walnut Canyon and Petrified Forest NP. Central access to all these gorgeous parks. One note: the lowest level is not suitable for elderly folks due to a European-style spiral staircase, which is narrow. First floor has access to the master bedroom w en-suite bathroom, an addition two queen rooms and a third room with a queen bunk (sleeps 2-4). These three rooms share a single bathroom. This wasn’t an issue for us given we were out most of each day and were able to divide shower/toilet time- but it might be a limitation for some families. All in all, the house was truly worth it. If I had to plan the trip all again, I would stay there in a heartbeat. We were an extended family of nine/ from age 11 to 86. Everyone loved the house. The indoor fireplace warms the house within minutes; there was a Christmas tree, decorated, upon entry. Pool/billards, pickleball, basketball, darts… family time enjoyed by all!

Every year we do an annual Christmas tree hunt with friends and family. We typically struggle to find a place that can sleep us all comfortably. Sun set ranch really hit the target with a secluded feel only minutes from town. Rich with amenities we played pickleball indoors on a full size court, dabbled with a bit of pool, and enjoyed our evenings on the patio enjoying the privacy and open sky. The kitchen had complementary coffee pods for our early mornings and the kitchen had all the tools we needed to prepare a large breakfast and dinner for the crew. Between the multiple places we have stayed over the last several years I can confidently say I would come back and visit sunset ranch.

Just wrapped up an awesome long weekend at Sunset Ranch with the whole family. It was a great spot! This place is perfect if you have a big group with kids. We had everyone from babies to grandparents, and there was plenty of room for all to spread out and do their thing. The setup here is killer! We had a blast on the pickleball/basketball court, and the pool and dart room kept everyone entertained. The back patio was also incredible to enjoy and relax. Seriously - you get these gorgeous mountain views while lounging on super comfy furniture, plus a great grill for cooking up family feasts. John's an amazing host. Super quick to jump in when we needed help figuring out the heat settings and getting new propane tanks. The huge common area in the main house was perfect for everyone to hang out together, and the sauna was clutch after running around all day. Love that this place is actually set up for families with little ones - made life so much easier! Already checking our calendar to plan another trip back. If you've got a big family looking for a Flagstaff getaway, book this place - you won't regret it!

We took our family and grandchildren to spend the extended weekend together enjoying the cooler weather in the mountains. This home allowed us the comfortable space to enjoy ourselves and play games together in the spacious home for board games and in the warehouse to play Pickle ball, ping pong, other outdoor games as well. This was a great place to let the grandchildren run and play as well. There is hiking and just a beautiful out door walk as well. Owner was very responsive with initial questions. Highly recommend this beautiful home. We will stay again.

We had a large family with kids and grandkids and had plenty of room. The kids were never bored with all the games and activities on the property. Everything you need for cooking and plenty of towels. The views from the property were beautiful and we also got to see some deer in the back yard. The host was very gracious in allowing us to check out an hour later due to bad roads on our route home and always responded to us in a timely manner. I highly recommend this home.

This property is WONDERFUL! Our group of adults looking to explore the area all had the comfort, space, and amenities needed to feel right at home during our stay. The views are fantastic, the beds and linens are comfortable, there are trails literally right out the back door, and the giant pickleball court was so much fun! Would 100% stay again!

Awesome great place to hang out great family time

This VRBO is amazing! Such a wonderful place to stay for a big group with lots of activities & space to spread out.

The ranch is spacious and well supplied with anything u need. Elk or moose came close to the deck one evening! Smart TV wifi was intermittent and having enough hot water for everyone's showers were issues but did not ruin the visit.

There was something for everyone to do. Everyone loved it and can’t wait to come back.

I would highly recommend this house. Its beautiful and in a really nice lication. Tons of stuff to do. We had elk outside the back porch every night. The owner was wonderful to work with. My family and me really enjoyed our time here.

Our family struck gold with this Flagstaff VRBO. GREAT location, plenty of space, beautiful generous back porch to sit back while the kids played and we relaxed. We had fun, family competition with the pickleball court!! And enjoyed relaxing in the sauna in the evening. Great vacation!!!
