Beautiful views, plenty of room to spread out!

Our experience at Sunset Point was wonderful! Beautiful house and beautiful location.

We had a fantastic time staying at Sunset Point. The house was well equipped with everything you need. Amy was very responsive to any questions. The view was breathtaking and so peaceful, wish we could stay longer.

Great house and stunning views! Plenty of space for our whole family and we loved the large dining room table where we not only ate most meals. But we also enjoyed playing board/card games. Large kitchen that was used a lot, as well. We appreciated the host letting us know to grab groceries and all necessities prior to arrival as the house is a bit of a ways from the nearest grocery store. There is a little marina shop nearby that offer boat rentals and we took advantage of that and loved exploring the lake. Just beware the stairs down to the dock are steep so get ready to get your steps in!

The perfect place to relax with our family and catch up with our friends this summer. The house had everything we could have needed, very clean and plenty of space for our three families. The view of the lake is exceptional and the location was perfect! Checking in was a breeze and we had no problems at all during our stay. The marina was so close for our boat rental and also has a restaurant that serves really delicious food. We visited the Hoppy Trout Brewery in Andrews as well, and that was amazing too. Such a wonderful experience overall!

We’ve stayed at this house a number of times over the years. We love the house! Especially the renovations they’ve done. Adding the new bunk room and second master downstairs was really nice! This place is comfortable and well stocked. Great host and great house!

We had an amazing week at Amy’s - went by too quick - the deck became a plen air painting studio and the dock hosted tons of fun and memories. Two master bedrooms was great and the bunk room was perfect for the kids. Everything extremely clean and place was well stocked. Rented a boat from Lakes End Marina and they delivered it and picked up - caught a few rainbow trout as well!

Our 2nd stay here, enough said. :)

We couldn't have asked for a nicer location or a better stay. It was our first time to the lake and we fell in love.

We stayed here for a friend's wedding and the house was perfect for our group! We had everything we needed for our short stay and Amy was so thorough in her details for our trip, including details about the house/property, and recommendations for things to do in the area. The views were amazing. Highly recommend Sunset Point!

The most beautiful view you could imagine. Spent every morning with coffee on the deck watching clouds burn off the lake and mountains - just breath taking. We even had a bald eagle visit a couple of times. The house was very beautiful inside as well. So unique, the pictures do not really do justice. Amy (owner) was very responsive before, during, and after. She was great to work with. It was very easy to check in. The home was super-clean, well stocked with movies, games, kitchen supplies, towels, blankets, baby supplies, toiletries, etc: there was not a thing we needed. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of space to lounge upstairs and downstairs. We were there for our son's wedding. This house rental rental exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to visit again next year. Thank you, Amy, for making our visit to Nantahala so comfortable and memorable.

We have stayed here before and love this place- I have been coming to Lake Nantahala since I was a little girl. A wonderful retreat with one of the best views of the Lake!

Great place for a family trip!

Exceeded our expectations, from the view, to the house, to the awesome peace and quiet. We hope to come back! Family trip 8 adults, a 1yr old and a 3yr old

This is a great property for a family that can’t decide as a group what to do. While we did do some of the local area activities such as whitewater rafting and zip lining, we didn’t need to leave the property for the whole week we were there, there is so much to do here! Make sure you get groceries before you get there though as there isn’t a grocery store nearby. There were plenty of essentials provided by the hosts like sugar, salt, pepper, coffee pods and coffee/filters. The hosts have gone out of their way to provide well for their guests!

The house is beautiful. Amy, the host, let us know the driveway can be difficult but plenty of parking. Her instructions were so helpful. We walked a few times to the wedding venue, a bit hilly but it was manageable. We had time to use the kayaks. Kitchen is well stocked. It was a wonderful experience. We loved the views.

My family and I (12 of us) were all excited to stay at Sunset Point from the pictures on Vrbo. Well, the place was even more amazing in real life!! Beautiful house on Lake Nantahala with a pier and kayaks and paddle board that we put to use. Three decks where we enjoyed having morning coffee to star gazing at night. Great amenities inside the house too - from wonderful smelling toiletries in the bathrooms, spacious bedrooms, kitchen stocked with necessities. But you can read all this on this the website... All's I can say is to go for a visit! You'll have memories for a lifetime. And if you're lucky enough, maybe even have the opportunity to go back again and again!!
