Welcome to A Place in the Sun on The Point in Emerald Isle, a spacious 3-bedroom, 3-bath coastal retreat just about a 2-minute walk to beach access and The Point’s famous sunsets, shelling, fishing, and wide shoreline.

Designed for relaxing, gathering, and making memories together, this home comfortably sleeps 8 guests, with room for up to 10 using the queen sleeper sofa. Multiple indoor and outdoor living spaces make it easy for families, couples, and groups to spread out whilestill staying connected.

THE HEART OF THE HOME

The second floor is the heart of the home, featuring bright, naturally lit living, dining, and kitchen spaces with vaulted ceilings that create an open, airy feel. It’s the perfect place to cook, unwind, and spend time together after a beach day.

The fully equipped kitchen makes meal prep easy, whether you're making pancakes before the beach, preparing fresh seafood, or gathering around dinner after sunset.

Step from the dining area onto the screened porch, where an oversized, cozy couch invites slow mornings with coffee, afternoon reading, or evening drinks.

The living room offers a large comfortable couch that converts to a queen sleeper sofa, along with a smart TV, streaming services, and board games for relaxed evenings and family fun.

Just outside, the wraparound front porch offers gliders and lounge seating for soaking up the sun by day and stargazing at night.

This level also includes:

PRIVATE KING SUITE RETREAT

The top floor is a private escape featuring a king suite with its own full bathroom and balcony with sound views. Watch deer wander through at sunset and birds settle into the trees at dusk.

Just outside the suite is a small office area and cozy reading nook with a small library, perfect for quiet mornings, remote work, or slipping away with a book.

Every bedroom, plus the living room, includes its own smart TV with streaming services.

All beds feature high-quality mattresses with cooling properties and soft, breathable bedding. The king and queen suites also include adjustable bases with optional massage features for extra comfort after long beach days.

OUTDOOR LIVING & BEACH DAYS

The outdoor spaces are designed for slowing down and staying awhile.

Downstairs, three hanging hammock chairs beneath the deck, Adirondack seating, a porch swing, yard games, and multiple outdoor gathering spaces create a relaxed place to unwind after the beach.

Beneath the oak trees, another shaded retreat awaits with two additional hammock chairs and a full hammock tucked into the shade. It’s the perfect place for slow afternoons, naps, reading, coffee, conversation, or simply doing nothing at all.

The garage is stocked with beach essentials, including:

• Other gear to help you pack lighter and enjoy the coast sooner

For meals at home, you’ll find both charcoal and propane grills, plus a propane shrimp boil cooker for classic coastal dinners and seafood feasts after a day in the sun.

You'll also find an outdoor shower and plenty of parking for multiple vehicles.

Located on The Point in Emerald Isle, one of the island’s most desirable areas, the home is just a short walk to public beach access and The Point’s wide shoreline, known for incredible sunsets, shelling, fishing, dolphin sightings, and quieter stretches of sand.

You’ll also be close to local restaurants, shops, mini golf, boat rentals, fishing charters, and nearby ferry access for exploring surrounding islands and spotting wild horses.
