This home had a great layout for our family. The kitchen was well appointed and there were tons of games! Need additional paper products as we did have to purchase them after only a few days (paper towels/toilet paper), and there was an issue with the fire alarm being VERY sensitive, like you couldn't cook anything without all the upstairs windows/doors open which is tough in the weather. We did call and they sent someone out, but all they said was to run the fan, which didn't help. The alarm would sound every time someone cooked anything.

The house was spacious and well appointed. Our host, Mara, gave us some tips for local fun, hikes, bars and restaurants. First time coming to Tahoe not in the winter. It is as breathtaking and spectacular with no snow. Weather was perfectly sunny and in the 70s/40s at night. Could not have been a better location to check out Truckee and the surrounding little towns around Tahoe. I would definitely rent this place again. 5 stars!

My family stayed for a youth baseball tournament. Plenty of beds to accommodate a family and the home was in pristine condition. A perfect balance of modern design and comfort.

10/10! I couldn’t recommend highly enough for families. There are so many details that we so appreciated, such as the passes to the Tahoe Donner amenities, the double bunk beds, one set of which were full beds so the adults who inevitably have to sleep with the children are actually comfortable. The karaoke machine (which we couldnt figure out how to work, but that didn’t stop our kids from putting on a performance including using the ukulele and guitar hero guitar), the step stools in every bathroom for the shorter kids, the huge closet full of fun indoor toys and games (my kids colored, played Guess who and dominos and spot it—seriously just amazing!), the baking utensils—even a mixer and cooling rack which came in handy for making scones, the fact that the laundry detergent and dishwasher fluid wasn’t rationed like in other places we’ve stayed. Honestly, all of these things made it feel like we were home. Oh and the snow! A huge mountain of it on the deck which meant we made the coolest igloo snow tunnel (and by we, i mean the kids while we cheered them on from inside). Seriously amazing!

We enjoyed staying at this house very much. The house seems fairly new, tastefully decorated and very spacious. We enjoyed the extra space for the 6 of us after spending a few days in hotel rooms in San Francisco. The house has actually 4 bedrooms, 2 in the basement with one. The house has a lot of natural light and beds and sheets are very good quality. Well stocked with the necessities. We did have to buy dishwasher and laundry detergent, there was none provided. One suggestion - I would install longer shower curtains in the second bathroom on the first floor to avoid water spills. We particularly enjoyed the record player with some very good music. Spending time on the porch at night with lights off and stargazing was one of the highlights. The house is very close to a Safeway store in Truckee and about 15 miles away from Tahoe City. Biking and rafting on the Truckee River was very nice. First time at Tahoe and we hope to come back again. Highly recommending this company, everything was smooth.
