Stayed Aug 29, 2025A few things that would have made our stay better are adequate blankets on the beds, more kitchen supplies, such as mixing bowls, oven mitts, dish towels, and better cooking utensils. Despite not having a dishwasher and decent blankets we made the best of our stay. The huge driveway is what sold us on this place. We were able to park 2 trucks with boats easily!

Stayed Jun 7, 2024Let me start by saying we overall enjoyed this rental. It was spacious enough for the amount of people we had to sleep in their own bed. However, I want to give a bettet description of the overall home. It is clearly an older home that has been remodeled, but the modern choices they added to update the home were nice. Pros: The beds were all comfortable. The sectional in the living room was very nice and doubled as a bed for one of our family members. We made good use of the washer/dryer as we did a lot of water activities. The pots/pans and utensils were plentiful. The access to the property was easy. The garbage bins are at the end of the driveway for easy disposal of filled trash bags. The drive to Destin was about 15 minutes depending on time of day (traffic). The area was quiet, but vlose enough to Walmart or fast food restaurants if you needed to make a quick trip for either one. Side note: Two things you may need to bring if you have a large party of people is extra garbage bags and toilet paper. Places to improve: The futon in the sunroom had definitely seen better days, so we didn't utilize that bed. There were some rusted parts in the kitchen and main bathroom, which highlights the older home. When we arrived two of the rooms had a hole in them from the door knob which we made sure the owners knew promptly. I am sure the owners will eventually get on this as they were responsove to any concerns.

Stayed Jul 14, 2023We enjoyed the house very much ! The owner was so nice and great to communicate with ! Only suggestion I have , more kitchen things- mixing bowls , larger skillets , pot holders - but over all loved the house !
