Sunny Day - Great beach access south of 30a!

The house is beautiful, clean, and only a few steps away from the beach! Our trip was in early October, and the pool needed to be heated for us to swim and hang around comfortably. Molly ( the property manager) was very responsive to my messages, and we were able to get the pool heated the very same evening of our arrival. Again, we love the house, the pool, and how close it is to the beautiful beach. One caveat though, the water heater is located in the primary suite, and it gets pretty loud when in used. So, my best advice is to set a cut off and start time for showers, washing dishes, etc (unless they like cold water) or your sleep will certainly be interrupted.

The house was in the perfect location. This was our 4th trip to this area of 30A and I would stay at this house every time if it’s available. The beach was a very short walk to beach access at end of street, that leads to an uncrowded section of the beach.

We loved the house it was perfect. It was our first time in the area and it's always more difficult to enjoy when your trying to figure out where things are. We walked to everything which was nice, but maybe not enough choices of restaurants and it seemed expensive. We also enjoy beach bars on the beach which there really weren't any that we found. The area is beautiful and I think we may give it another try sometime.

House very inviting and very nicely decorated. Great location, very close to the beach. Host was quick to reply to messages before, during, and after stay. All bedrooms have their own direct access to a bathroom. Downstairs suite was extremely nice and private. Definitely recommend!

We Loved this location!! We could walk so easily to coffee, food, shopping etc. Molly was very responsive and helpful when we had questions! Loved the space in the home!

We have stayed in 30A many times but this may be our new go-to place. We had 3 adult couples and 2 small children and the house was big enough and nicely laid out for everyone to have their own space. The kitchen is amazingly stocked with everything you could need to cook. Location to the beach is great and the pool area is nice too. One note if you have small kids - there are multiple staircases so either rent baby gates or stand guard at the stairs! Other than that, an amazing place stay for a fantastic vacation.

We just returned from a fabulous week at Sunny Day. We've vacationed on Sanibel Island for most of the past 35 years. When Sanibel was destroyed by Ian, we thought we would never find a spot as perfect - a tall order, for sure. Sunny Day was everything and more - the house, the pool, the beach, the location - and Molly was BEYOND responsive before and during our stay. We will absolutely be returning to this lovely property!

Loved this house for the excellent location. It's only a short walk to the beach, to shopping and to restaurants - SO convenient! Because of the private access this beach was much less crowded than the public beach further down the street. House was clean and beds were comfortable. We also loved the window seats in the living room. A few of the fridge shelves come loose easily and oven smells of gas before it gets going; so some minor maintenance is probably due. Two idiosyncrasies - all of the bathrooms are in bedrooms, so the main level bedroom gets a lot of traffic just for bathroom access; there are NO beach towels provided. I've never stayed in a beach house without beach towels before; and this caused some inconvenience in extra packing or buying on arrival.

This house was perfect for our group. Great location and the house has everything you need for a week on the beach.

Pictures were exactly as described. Just a very short walk to the board walk to beach. Short walk to restaurants, shopping and liquor store. The awesome little apartment downstairs is perfect for a family with little kids. The only problem which wasn’t a problem, the address says 26 beach walk lane, but that is a locked gate that you can’t get to. You have to go to south spooky lane to get to beach walk lane driveway. Which we used the driveway on beach walk lane and spooky lane. So that got a little confusing. It may have been in checkin info I just didn’t read it. But over all great place to stay and Molly was very quick with any questions.
