Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental experience was great. As always SBL was professional, responsive and kept us up to date. It was the first time since Ian we had an opportunity to come down and find a property we knew we enjoy. The only small drawback was that the spa and pool we heated by the heatpump only and it could keep up in some of the cooler weather we experienced on occasion.

The home was well stocked and comfortable. The pool was warm and clean. We also enjoyed the whirlpool, it felt good on our aching muscles after bicycling all day. This is a short ride to Ding Darling too. We had a few minor issues and the SBL people were extremely responsive and helpful. Also patient and kind!We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Our only issue was that the pool area could have been a little cleaner. Spider webs were plentiful! We will be back next January!

We had everything we needed, and plenty of space to enjoy our vacation. Our trip was interrupted by Milton leaving it's mark on the landscape (as with Helene) but the home was thankfully not touched. We enjoyed the Farmers Market, Doc Fords, Jerry's Grocery, Traders, Shell Museum, Sanibel Cafe and others. We really enjoyed the hours on the beach which was 350 steps from the home and still enjoying the three large boxes of shells we shipped home. Besides the 11 day Milton interruption, our only disappointment was the communication confusion over the heated pool and hot tub. We learned a little too late that the heater was broken so really am more disappointed in the pool company. Rob was great in coming out and determining the issue and showing me all the cool details. Despite that we very much enjoyed the pool and patio area and looking forward to staying again. Ann, Julie and Rob we appreciate you!
