Cle Elum, Washington
Located in the Suncadia's Nelson Preserve and surrounded by trees, our farmhouse cabin built in 2017 is a short walk to the Cle Elum river and the Nelson Dairy farm. The trail system which runs just off the back patio connects to the lodge, the Cle Elum river as well as many miles of trails to explore the Suncadia property. The Swiftwater winery is a short 5 minute drive. Additionally, there are trails to both Roslyn and Ronald (10 mins by bike)
However, if you prefer to stay at the house - our cabin is an open concept kitchen, dining room and living room with 2,300 sf and 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. We also have a 600 sf mother in law above the garage with full bath and kitchen. Of the 4 bedrooms in the main house two are master suites equipped with king sized beds. Additionally, there is a queen bed and a twin bunk room. The mother in law also has a king sized bed. There is a 9 foot dining room table and an 11 foot live edge table on the deck to enjoy meals together. Outside, we have a large deck, fire pit, horseshoe pit, an eight person hot tub, and ping pong table in the garage available for use.
The house was the perfect size and layout for our family over the holiday. Kitchen was well appointed and all the spaces were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit and the heated garage with ping pong was a great bonus for kids (and adults). The host was very responsive and friendly. We'd definitely book here again.
The property was wonderful, receiving my security deposit still hadn't been returned after 11 days.
Great place for a family of 9 (three generations) to vacation for the week. Close to water and the mountains. Grandparents had their own place above the garage. We spent a good deal of time on the back patio…. Dining, enjoying evening fires, and reading during the day.
Our family gathered from East and West. We were able to relax and have fun, axe throwing, swimming, bicycling, hiking and just enjoying a comfortable mountain retreat. I would stay in this lovely home again. Yakima family
There were a few issues, the trash/recycle situation wasn't ideal, the hot tub needed attention, the live edge table outside and the main table inside both need TLC. All that said, the owner was responsive and very positive. The house is beautiful, it's tucked away in the trees, very private from neighbors. Suncadia is breathtaking, the paths and trails are amazing. The river is a short hike from the back door. Overall a nice family vacation.
My friends and I rented this house for a Girls' Weekend and it was perfect! There was plenty of space for us all to hang out and eat meals together. The kitchen was very well stocked! Great communication with the owner making check-in/check-out very easy. Overall, no complaints about this house and would definitely rent it again!
The home we rented was perfect for our family. It snowed the first day and stayed with us until the day we left. Area streets were plowed. And there were plenty of snowshoe and cross country trails to enjoy. Ben was quick to respond when we had a question. We would definitely stay here again.
We had a very relaxing time. Home is great for privacy. There were some minor issues but contact with the owner was very responsive and positive.
House is wonderful. We wish there would have been a closet or clothes rack in mother-in-law apartment.
We enjoyed our stay. The TV wasn't working in the bedroom over the garage so I emailed the owner. He responded very fast and had someone stop by and fix the problem ASAP. Definitely would recommend this home.
Our stay was excellent! The home was as portrayed in the profile. Great hiking was out the back door. The neighborhood was lovely and quiet. The home held all who visited easily and was well equipped. We will be back and it’s likely to be an annual vacay spot!
