Sun-Soaked Pompano Beach Home w/ Private Pool!

The place was overall all not bad. But there were a few downfalls. We checked in on a Saturday and maybe just how the trash pick goes when we got there the trash can in front of the house was overflowing and beer bottles on the yard. And when trash day came Monday the trash people didn’t pick it up because it all wasn’t contained in the trash can so then it continued to sit there for a couple more days. Same thing with the pool. We got there Saturday and the pool and the deck were covered with leaves and debris. The pool cleaner didn’t come until Friday. So that was pretty disappointing because it was nice after the deck was cleared off but almost the entire week we stayed we didn’t even really want to sit out there because it felt dirty and messy. Another downfall was the seating in the living room. There is only one couch and it is extremely uncomfortable. The bedroom were great. The beds were fairly comfortable. Kitchen was fine. Communication with the owner was non existent. I tried to reach out several times before our stay to see if they had certain things at the house to accommodate us. Never got a response back. I reached out again once we got there about the trash and beer bottles in the front yard… again never got a response back to me. So that was really disappointing. It wasn’t a completely terrible experience but it definitely could have been better had the owner had the trash and pool cleaned and communicated with us. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Clean, the host was very responsive, pool area was beautiful, would stay there again

The pool is nice but it does not get cleaned before you arrive. It says it gets cleaned on Thursdays, but we watched and it is literally just them adding chemicals to the pool. I had to spend an entire hour skimming the pool for the kids to swim when we got there. And it wasn't just small leaves. It was a lot of big stuff. Not that big of a deal. You cannot run the oven and the microwave at the same time. Which they do tell you in the house rules upon arrival. That is something that would be nice to know ahead of time. Also, it does have a double oven, but the lower oven does not work. It will only stay at 135 in preheat. That is as high as it goes. Some of the lights do not work, and some of the plug-ins are not connected to studs so they are pretty loose in the wall. You are expected to lock all the windows and doors upon checkout, which I find interesting because when we arrived I had to go around and lock every single window and one of the patio doors. As far as location and value, I would probably stay here again, but there are a few things that should be addressed. Also, you are expected to take the trash out, which is an obvious one with VRBO rentals. However, when trash day comes, all of the neighborhood knows that this house is a VRBO rental, and they will absolutely overload your trash can that is sitting at the end of the driveway as soon as the garbage truck drives away.

The home is spacious with a nice layout, but overall we felt it was overpriced & that the property could benefit from more attention to maintenance & preparation before guests arrive.When we arrived, several items required attention. The host Camille was very kind/responsive & even came by the next day to address some of the problems, which we appreciated. That said, proactively handling these items before our arrival would have made for a much smoother experience.For example, one of the beds was extremely squeaky & essentially unusable until it was fixed. The cleaning crew hadn’t left any dish towels & only a minimal amount of paper towels. One toilet was not flushing properly. One of the bedroom doors does not close properly & is very loud. We were also surprised to find that the primary bedroom closet is locked as an owner’s closet, leaving guests no place to hang clothes in that room.The biggest disappointment, however, was the pool. One of the main reasons we chose this property & paid a premium was the pool, but it was full of leaves & unusable on our first full day. Camille let us know the pool company would come in the AM, but they didn’t arrive until 3:30–4:00 PM. Unfortunately, that ended up being our only free day, so we never had a chance to use the pool. The Keurig machine was also not working, which meant leaving the house for morning coffee.Camille was very friendly & responsive, but for the price paid & the listing photos, I expected a better experience.

This property was clean and basically adequate for most needs. There were however, multiple instances of broken or missing cabinet doors, and an outdoor access door that was marked to not be used (and from the tape holding up the note, this is not a new issue). This was the door from the living room to the patio around the pool. We were told it cost extra/day to heat the pool. The refrigerator required special care to open and close. The oven and microwave could not be used together. The knives were dangerously sull. The door to the washer was in the wrong direction making it hard to move clothes to the dryer (a simple ten minute fix). There were multiple broken blinds. The steps to the upstairs were worn and shabby. There were only a few extra blankets. The toilet paper equated to sandpaper, so we bought our own. And no hair dryer. Even very inexpensive hotels provide hair dryers.

Beautiful place and very spacious. Location was great for getting around to beaches and different sites along with shopping!Home provided all that was needed for preparation of cooking meals. Pool area was great with lots of privacy!A very welcoming home…..Definitely, will come again!!!!

The condo was clean and as described. It has plenty of room and a very nice pool and yard area. Great location! Only complaint is the furniture in the living room was too low for us to sit in and very hard to get up… otherwise we would most definitely rent this condo again.

Great house

There was an issue with the A/C upstairs. The owner was very responsive. The A/C was fixed next day. Im was very happy with my stay. I will book again.

This property was Great! I would recommend anyone I know to book it now. The house was big, the pool was awesome and our stay was the best best I have had in a longtime.

We loved the property. Close to the beach. Reasonable price. Beautiful patio and pool! House had nice seating areas for eating and a well equipped kitchen.

House was clean, cozy and very comfortable. Host was extremely accommodating and responded quickly to any questions we had. Perfect little get away house. Definitely would stay again.

We stayed for almost a week, the space is charming and well decorated. The host was very accommodating and quick to respond. My daughter loved the pool.

Everything was as described in the listing. Host was outstanding in her communications. We would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay. plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. Really like the private pool area.
