Sun-Soaked Coastal Cottage w/ Deck + Walk to Beach

Could see the beach very quiet, except for the trains that come by in the morning very loud

Great location. Lots of space.

The house is in a great location - quick walk to the beach and far enough away from the pier to avoid congestion, while still being close to conveniences. We did need assistance with the keyless entry and received a quick response when we called our contact. While some folks may not appreciate the train rail, no matter where we've stayed in OOB, we've heard the train. To see it up close was a bonus for our grandson - he loved it! Easy Wi-Fi access; we are not TV watchers on vacation so we can't address that. If we were to return in a group, I would absolutely stay here again.

We had a great week and very much enjoyed our stay. This property has everything we needed to be comfortable and the location was perfect. Looking forward to next year.

It wasn’t said that the tvs didn’t have cable. 3 did not work at all besides the static. Back door screen was broken, the door to the back porch was hard to close/lock. The grill was not fully cleaned properly leaving a fire after the first use. Plumbing in the house was wonky at times. Downstairs toilet barely worked unless you held the handle for a minute. Trash in bins from previous occupants was not removed until 3 days after us checking in. Great location and easy access/walk to the beach, but for the price and everything included above. We won’t be back.

The location of this property is good especially if you want to be right in the middle of things. It’s close to the beach and to the amusement park. I do think that they should put in the description that there is a train that is most definitely going to wake you up multiple times a night though. I found the living room furniture very dated and uncomfortable and the dining room table was quite dirty. The washer also leaked. My one major complaint though is that when trying to reach the host to get in the check in code, they never responded so I had to call the 888 number to get it. They finally were able to get in touch with the owner to get me the code but we had to wait hours after our scheduled checkin to get it. The host never reached out to me but VRBO did give us a a partial reimbursement for dinner (which they told us to go to while they attempted to contact the owner)

The location was perfect if you are looking for a beach stay. Ocean is a minute walk and you have the strip to walk. The property is very nice and you have the great backyard with a private deck to hang out. The is a fire pit and grill what would have made it perfect would have been if they had a hot tub on the deck. Overall I would stay here again.

This trip was our first time at Old Orchard Beach. The location was incredible. Michael, our point of contact, was very responsive and helpful. The property, being steps from the beach, had all the amenities you could ask for. I recommend this property to anyone.
