Stayed Jan 16, 2026The location was amazing, tucked back into the woods right next to Aberdeen Lodge but close enough to town. House was spacious and had all the amenities we needed. Parking in the garage was super convenient as it was very cold nights! Host was very responsive before and after our trip. We definitely recommend this VRBO if you are looking for a true up north experience.

Stayed Aug 2, 2025This is a spacious well equipped clean and comfortable home for a family vacation. We travelled with kids and grandkids and we particularly liked the large king bedroom suite on the lower level - very peaceful spot for grandparents! The open area behind the house was great for the kids to play in. Its not on the water but the walk down throught the woods to the waters edge is pleasant.The small beach was great for swimming - sandy and a nice depth - and the designated pier for our boat worked well. Not having a washer and dryer was the one draw back to this property.

Stayed Feb 14, 2025Heat wasn’t turned on at check-in so house was freezing. Key wasn’t in lock box when we got there. It was in the back door so anyone could have been in the house. Very unsafe. Directions said take garbage to dumpster but there wasn’t one. Charged us 50 for cleaning ladies to take it to the dumpster at the restaurant down the road.

Stayed Jan 2, 2024We've stayed here several times and always enjoy our time. The house is clean, comfortable, and is located on a beautiful property. We enjoyed walking to the restaurant next door for dinner and the kids were able to play in the (little bit of) snow.
